3 DIY Father's Day Gifts From the Heart for Under $10

As a Mom and daughter, I am always coming up with unique gift ideas for dads.

Father’s Day Is Approaching

The Dilemma

If you’re like me, you’re probably tired of giving your dad countless ties, keychains, mugs, tape measures, and useless tools that end up stuck in a drawer or box in the garage.

They say it’s the thought that counts, but wouldn’t it be nice to make something that really has some thought behind it?

Let’s check out some great ideas that will really show your daddy how you feel. Putting a little effort into your gift can go a long way.

A Homemade Card

Homemade cards can be anything from a simple letter to an intricate painted design. Just think about the message you want to send your daddy and go from there.
Use your imagination. You can use stencils, paints, aluminum foil, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Homemade Cookies, Muffins, or Brownies

Homemade baked goods are a great way to show your dad how much you love him. Think about which kinds of cookies, brownies, or muffins he loves best and whip up a batch!
After they’re cool, package in a decorated basket, box, or tray. Voila!

A Special T-shirt

This is one of my favorites because you can really get creative. Take one of your dad’s t-shirts or a brand new one. Next, go wild! Stamp handprints, have the whole family sign their names, paint his favorite dad joke on the back, the possibilities are infinite. Have fun with it.

These three ideas are just the tip of the iceberg. Be you and your love will shine through.
