The Beautiful Venice: Neither Words, Nor Camera, can Capture the Beauty of Venice

The Unique City of Venice — The city of canals and a ronamantic destination!

If you can smell romance in the air, with breathtaking views and surroundings, you are probably in Venice.

An amazing city, where you have to commute through water canals, by means of water buses, water taxis, steamers, and the romantic Gondolas.

You have to see this unique place, to believe that such a beautiful location exists on this planet.

Besides, there is the famous St. Mark’s Square, which is always full of tourists from all over the World.

The historic Ducal Palace, the exquisite Clock Tower, the Baroque Splendour of St. Mark’s Basillica and the colourful and invit markets all along.

There are guided tours to Muraina glass museum, the island Burano, and the ancient cathedral of Torcello.

The lined up shops had attractive Masks, Souvenirs and some unique and World class glass articles.

The Italian cuisine

Pizzas, Lasanga, Pesto, Pasta, Spaghetti, Gelato, Pizza Magherita—Yes, these are the names of some of the most delicious and World famous Italian cuisines.

There is a prominence of olives and olive oil in the Italian food preparations. The pizza with the thin crust is the specialty and I think, that differentiates the Italian pizza from other pizzas.

The way, people leisurely enjoy their food, sitting around a round table, as if there is no hurry, is a matter to be appreciated.

Thanks Manatita, for reading and appreciating the article and my photographs.

I am glad you found the information useful. We had an amazing time indeed at Italy.

I understand that some locals may not like tourist presence. But in an altogether tourist place like Venice, it does help in generating revenue and employment as well. Just as it does in hill stations, such as Shimla, Darjeeling, Nainital or Kashmir, in India. Yes, the visitors or tourists must follow the local rrules, so as not to trouble anyone.

Thank You so much for sharing your thoughts and good day to you!
