What To Say In The Card

Valentine's Day is an excellent opportunity to share the feelings that you have for that special lady in your life. Whether she is a new girlfriend, or whether you have enjoyed a longer relationship, Valentine's Day provides a unique opportunity to tell her how you really feel about her.

Sometimes for some guys, it is not easy to share those personal feelings. But on Valentine's Day, sharing your feelings is quite acceptable and expected.

Here are some tips or ideas on what to write in a Valentine's Day card for your girlfriend, highlighted or exemplified, with some of my favorite love song lyrics.

Baby, baby, I get down on my knees for you, if you would only love me like you used to do - The Righteous Brothers

Write something in your Valentine's Day card to your girlfriend that shows her that you adore her, even worship her. Tell her that you would get down on your knees, if she would just love you!

Let me be the one you come running to - Al Green

Write something in your Valentine's Day card to your girlfriend that lets her know she can depend or rely on you, no matter what. Let her know that you are her lighthouse, in any storm. Tell her you will always be there.

Baby I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time. Maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you - Paul McCartney

Write something personal in your Valentine's Day card to your girlfriend that lets her know that your love for her makes you feel vulnerable and that her love for you, astounds and humbles you. Let her know that her feelings for you inspires you, in an almost overwhelming way.

I feel wonderful, because I see the love light in your eyes and the wonder of it all, that you just don't realize, how much I love you - Eric Clapton

Write something in your Valentine's Day card to your girlfriend that lets her know that you cannot even begin to describe the feelings that you have for her and say it, in all sincerity. Let her know that she cannot even fathom the depth of your love for her.

Hear the whisper of the raindrops blowing soft against the window
And make believe you love me, one more time, for the good times - Ray Price

In your Valentine's Day card to your loved one, be poetic and let her know of the heartache of being away from her, or the thought of losing her and how you would be devastated. Let her know that your feelings for her, sometimes makes you feel at her mercy.

I said I love you, and that's forever, and this I promise from the heart, I could not love you any better, I love you just the way you are - Billy Joel

In your Valentine's Day card to her make her feel special. More special than anyone. Tell her that you love her because of the unique and little things about her, that these things are what you cherish.
