Lets Get Straight To The Point
With mobiles, laptops, televisions, tabs and all the digital equipment around, most youngsters today are facing a common problem of blurred vision at a very early age and it keeps on getting worse with time and they opt for contact lenses and glasses which actually aggravate the problem in long term. This article will help you get rid of all these problems with simple yet powerful yoga exercises.
The Actual Yoga Exercise
Sit on a mat in a relaxed position. Now focus on an object straight in front of your eyes with a still head, without any movement of eyes or the head.
Now keeping the head still as it is in step 1, rotate both your eyes to look at an object in the right direction (rotation should be almost 90 degree angle). Remember that the head should be still and should be pointing in the forward direction, only your eyes should be moving. Keep this position for around 2 to 3 seconds and slowly bring your eyes back to normal position as in the step 1.
Now that you are back to same position as in the step 1, rotate both your eyes to look at an object in left direction (rotation should be almost at 90 degree angle).The head should remain still as instructed in step 2. Keep this position for around 2 to 3 seconds and slowly bring your eyes back to normal position as in step 1.
Now that you have covered horizontal directions, it is time for the vertical movements. Slowly rotate your eyes and look at the ceiling without moving the head. Keep this position for 2 to 3 seconds and slowly bring your eyes back to the normal position as in the step 1.
Slowly rotate your eyes and try to focus on an object right under your eyes. Keep this position for 2 to 3 seconds and slowly bring your eyes to normal position. All these 4 simple steps constitute a set.
To get maximum benefits out of this exercise, I would recommend to do 10 sets daily. It would hardly take 10 minutes and can be performed indoor very easily. In fact you can perform this exercise virtually anywhere with minimum requirements. I personally tried it and since past 6 months I have seen significant improvement in my eyes. People suffering from eye inflammations, stye or any other painful eye disorders should consult their eye specialist before doing this exercise. People older than 50 years of age should also consult their doctors to avoid extra strain on the eyes due to this exercise. Kids should do these exercise under the guided supervision of their parents or elders.
