Drink Water Daily

I know for a lot of us it is hard to drink water. That clear, tasteless, liquid is hard to swallow at times.

But you must force your self to do so, DAILY.

We all know the rule: Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

Just imagine this, what happens to a flower when you don't water it? Of course it shrivels up, withers and dies.

The concept is the same for us.

Drinking water will lubricate your body and will help you to have easier bowel movements.

First thing you should do when waking up in the morning is drink a small glass of water. This will help your morning bowel movement.

To much Wiping, to much Toilet paper

After having a bowel movement and if you have to wipe that area more than 4 times to get it clean. YOU HAVE HEMORRHOIDS!

That is the first sign of hemorrhoids. Constantly wiping will make it flare up faster. So what do you use if toilet paper is not recommended?

Wet-Wipes. Of course you can use toilet paper, but only wipe 2-3 times with it, then, use wet-wipes behind it.

Use wet wipes that can be flushed down the toilet

Wet Wipes are better for that effected area

They are moist, smooth and will cleanse the area all at the same time. Thus helps soothe the external hemorrhoid.

Be careful because some wet-wipes can not be flushed down the toilet.

They can stop up the sewer system. Be sure to read the label.

Preperation-H wet towels are a good choice and contain witch hazel good to reduce swelling.

Assurance wipes are good, they are larger than other wet wipes but should not be flushed .

Make Your Own Wet Wipes

Save money make your own wipes

If you are on a budget then here is a money saving tip you can do at home.

Get one package of your favorite baby wipes. Preferably fragrance free. One bottle of witch hazel.

Open the pack and pour 1/2 to 1 cup of witch hazel in the package, onto the the wipes.

Close the pack, move it around so the witch hazel can soak into all of the wipes.

No more dry wipes!

The witch hazel is very soothing for hemorrhoids.

Apple Cider Vinegar improves the bodies PH balance

Take it with or without water. What ever is comfortable for you.

1. For Internal use: taking a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar a day can improve the PH balance in your body and causes it to become more Alkaline.

It also prevents growth of bacteria in the Digestive tract.

2. For External use: dip a cotton ball in Apple Cider Vinegar and drench the effected hemorrhoidal area.

It will relieve itching, pain and bleeding

So if you have nothing else handy at the time your hemorrhoid pain starts, then reach for the vinegar.

Preparation H. helps ease the pain, aides in reducing swelling.

It is important to have a Colonoscopy

Dreadful as it may be. It is important to have a Colonoscopy.

Especially if you suffer a lot with Bleeding Hemorrhoids you would want to make sure you don't have any Polyps in your colon. These could be the culprits of the bleeding. Just something to think about and take care of yourself.

Having a Colonoscopy done is not as bad as you think it is or would be. The worst part of it is the day before at home preparation before the outpatient surgery. You are given a prescription for 1 Liter of Gavilyte-G Solution to cleanse your intestines/colon. Drinking this is absolutely the hardest part of the whole ordeal. Half way through the big jug, your body tends to become really cold. Just wrap yourself in a blanket and keep drinking.

Different doctors prescribe different Solutions. If you don't end up with the 1-GALLON solution then it is pretty much a breeze drinking and getting the solution down.
