Obesity is a matter of great concern in many countries around the world. People are suffering from obesity, due to regular intake of fast food such as pizzas, hot dogs, potato chips, cookies and soft drinks (in big quantity). If we add to that eating big quantity of meat (full of hormones for fast growth of the cattle), big quantity of milk and diary products (full of same hormones), and big intake of bear and other types of alcohol, and various medicaments for calming down (which slow down the metabolism) gaining the overweight is guranteed.

Of course, people today very rarely walk or exercize and problem becomes even worse.

Altough obesity is often connected with some hormonal diseases, as hypoactive thyroid, Cushing`s syndrom (adrenal glands), or imbalance or lack of sex-hormones, diabetes and so on, major causes are still above mentioned. Even when there is hormonal imbalance present, people in most cases do eat too much and move too little.

There are also various medicines which slow down the metabolism and cause the overweight: as some anti-depressants, sleeping pills. Corticosteroids are also causing overweight, as well as lithium for BP, anti-baby pills, some hormonal therapies and many others.

Obesity increases chances of catching many diseases as

  • hypertension, high blood pressure
  • edema
  • osteoarthritis
  • dyslipidemia, where the level of cholesterol increases
  • diabetes
  • stroke
  • various inflammations in the body
  • coronary heart disease
  • heart attack or heart failure
  • gallbladder disease
  • sleep apnea and other respiratory problems
  • endometrial, breast, and colon cancers
  • kidney failure
  • arteriosclerosis
  • various problems with skeleton which needs to carry much bigger weight than it can

In cases of extreme obesity all body organs and tissues suffer while being squized and under enourmous pressure, so they cannot fuctionate properly, they have literally not enough place and do not get enough blood and oxygen for they functions and regeneration.

Obesity leads to slow but very successful dying of the body.


Children and obesity

Due to inapropriate food intake and lack of exercizing today there is a lot obese children. So often the parents have some hormonal problem (in addition to obesity), which they geneticaly transfer to the children,  so children get into heritage problem of being overweight from the beginning of their lives.

The problem is very big: all body organs of the child are in the process of developing - organs need space for growing, not to be pressured by fat. Obese children also can developed all sorts of cronic health problems which are uncommon for such young age...and these health problems can persist through the whole life. How to lose weight fast - on natural way

Natural cure for overweight and obesity is the following:

  • if there is any hormonal imbalance causing it - it should be healed on natural ways - various remedies and/or bioenergy could be solution to that problem.
  • If any medicine is causing the obesity - that drugs should not be taken any more.

But the main part of story is healthy diet and exercizing!

When I was younger and had problems with weight, I tested so many diets without real success. On the end I finally found out the best way, while using my intuition:

Vegetables (all sorts of it), various whole graines, fruits - are OK. But: NO meat, no eggs, no milk and diary products, no bread. No fast food. No soft drinks! A lot of walking, and regular exercize. Without any problems, I lost all weight I needed to loose, and it never came back.

A lot of vegetable soups! As much home-made cooking as possible!

No microwave cooking!

No alcohol as well!

No diet pills !

The best point is that one does need to count calories while eating such food, and can eat as much as he/she wants. Meat is replaced by various soy products (dehidrated soy-meat products can be prepared on the same way as meat), or with seitan. Various beans and legumes also replace the proteins in meat.

For people who think that they cannot live without meat, it can be included into diet once or twice per weak, during the lunch, in small quantities. Seafood or fish once or twice per weak can be also OK, altough with any meat intake, body looses the weight slower. Meat products should be combined only with the vegetables during the meal, not with carbohydrats.

No eating late, after 8. If someone is really hungry in the evening, vegetable salat can be OK.

I tested this system with other people, and yes - it is working! For everybody!

My boyfriend lost circa 40 pounds in 3 months when I was preparing him the meals plus we were hiking every second weekend and regularly walk.

BTW, the best vegeterian diet is macrobiotic diet, it is good to follow main principles of it - it really balances body and soul and overweight also just goes away.


Pineapple and grapefruit

Pineapple and grapefruit can be of great help in the process of losing the weight.


They have great effect of burning calories much more easier....


And they are so tasteful!

Consume them as natural, home-made juices or just eat them more often - does not matter.

The results will be obvious very soon.

Why we get overweight so easily

Our bodies are created in the time when humans were living in the nature, depending on natural resources only. At that time, there was not important to be on diet, on the contrary: when there was food available it was wise to overload the stomach, just to make and additional reservoir of energy to the body, because people did not know when they will be able to eat next time.

Due to that, there is 5 minutes gap between the moment our stomach is full to the moment that brain receives this information.

Our stomach is also very flexible, if we eat a lot and continue to eat on that way, stomach will become bigger and bigger. This flexibility is also connected with the mentioned part of human history, when food was not easy available, so, like I said, was wise to take additional food when there was opportunity for that.

But, conditions of life changed in the modern world, systems in our bodies did not - so we need to trick them:

Eat your food slowly, chew a lot, and make 5 minutes pauses every now and on. You will discover for sure that after the pause, so often you do not feel hunger any more, because information about your full stomach finally came to the brain.

I get a notification each time you write a new hub. You're wonderfully prolific and your photos are absolutely beautiful! I always study each of your photo for its beauty.

Here you are writing about obesity and that's a subject dear to my heart. I used to be a fat skinny woman (30% fat). I learned that my fat cells were manufactured by my body to store all the extra toxins. I've had a lot of trouble in the past with an overloaded liver and I ended up getting highly acidic!
