I have been studying personal and lifestyle development while on a journey of just that myself.
Replace Or Reconnect
Some of you will be able to present your dreams with ease, you've always been connected to them and you know exactly what they are. When I say dreams, I mean goals. The big ones, master goals.
Others might feel like they never really had any big dreams, some might just not feel connected to their dreams like they once were. Perhaps your dreams don't even resonate with you anymore.
That's okay. Replace or reconnect.
We aren't supposed to just survive, just "get by" taking it one stressful day at a time, hoping for the best and unknowingly manifesting, quite often, the worst.
If you were to write down your daily routine, would you be able to identify three things that you do on a daily basis from your list that are driving you towards your dream life?
Would you be able to identify one?
The Best Way To Make Your Dreams Come True Is To Wake Up.
— Paul Valery
You Owe Yourself Big Time, Buddy
Don't just settle for the same old routine because it's kind of working. If you're not excited to wake up every day then you must do something about it. Not when the time is "right" and not when you can afford it. Stop waiting around. Implement just one thing into your calendar for the whole year if that's all you can manage, just do something!
You're here for the duration of your own lifetime and you're own lifetime has meaning and purpose. Within you are dreams and desires, adventures that you want to take and journeys that you have had to endure. Every cell in your body is replaced every 7 years yet you have been with you your whole life, you know you even if you don't always have time to remember.
The Biggest Adventure You Can Take Is To Live The Life Of Your Dreams
You were once a child with a vivid imagination and a unique sense of the world. You were as individual as you are now. No two people see the world exactly the same, have exactly the same values, opinions, qualities, skills, flaws and perks.
You have something to offer the world and the most authentic and effortless way to share it is through your own dreams. Don't be a nurse if you're only being a nurse because you get a lot of hours and job satisfaction. Be a nurse because it's a dream come true.
While I'm fully aware of the difficulties and despair of financial hardship, I'm also fully aware that everybody has the same amount of time. The richest people in the world get 24 hours per day, 7 days per week just the same as you. If you're working all the hours under the sun and still experiencing financial hardship then I present to you five minutes.
Five minutes of meditation whenever you can manage it. Just quiet. Concentrating on nothing but your breathing. If you can't sit with your eyes closed then focus on the ground in front of you. Just five minutes per day, what do you have to lose?
These five minutes per day you allow yourself are not self-indulgent. They are for the greater good for literally anybody you come into contact with. These five minutes per day will reconnect you to your purest self and your place in this universe.
Who knows? After a few tries, you might get a million-dollar idea. It's happened.
If you're prone to the idea that taking time to yourself is self-indulgent then you might also have negative paradigms around money, if that's the case then I am personally certain that your paradigm is hindering your income.
Take a look at the article I wrote on The Money Paradigm, I've linked it just below:
- The Money Paradigm
Your built-in beliefs about money are responsible for your current financial situation. I have some news for you... it isn't your fault. At least not until you're aware of your own money paradigm.
Being A Responsible Adult Might Not Be What You Think...
Over your lifetime, you've collected a vision board in your mind of this you want. Some of these things might have been burning desires such as a dream career or starting a family. Some of these things might have been influenced by things you've seen and wanted for yourself. Whatever they are, they're yours and it's important that you go after them.
Meditation is a great way to reconnect to your dreams and desires whether you have lost them or not and it really is beneficial. What else would you spend your life doing other than crafting it into what you really want it to be?
Once you know what your dreams are (if you didn't already) then it's your responsibility, as an adult, to go after them. You can't just leave it because it's not convenient for the people in your life. You might not get to come back and try again. Who knows?
I wrote some articles about implementing steps towards your dreams into your actual schedule and making it real and I've linked them just below:
Dreams Come True. Without That Possibility, Nature Would Not Incite Us To Have Them.

I agree. It does appear the path to following your dreams is the most important. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. People are plagued by the guilt of going after their own dreams. My opinion is that the reason you are always blessed with a little more than what you dream for is because you are connected to the truth that your own path is the most important.

I seem to be blessed. I like to pray about my dreams. I always get more than I dreamed. Sometimes a little different. It would appear that the path to reaching your goals is the most important because as long as you are following them the journey is not over.
