Could Your Health Be Possible Without Doctors and Nutritionists?

Val isn't playing life coach by sharing some useful ideas gathered over 7 decades of life experience and hundreds of books on human nature.

Does health start with medications and nutritional supplements -- or in our head?

From Medicine and Big Pharma with Love

For those who are in a habit of ignoring or just missing disclaimers at the bottom of an article -- I am not a doctor of any kind, so nothing that follows should be understood as a medical advice.

With that behind us, let us talk a little about this idea of not using any drugs and supplements -- while the central point being that our bodies, once given a full support from our emotions and thoughts know how to take care of themselves.

To think otherwise would mean forgetting about the simple fact that for the most of the human history -- and let us not leave prehistory out of the picture -- there were no doctors, no nutritionists around to make our species survive, while even the mighty dinosaur went extinct.

There is something in our genetic constitution that has withstood all micro and macro predators, all unfavorable conditions, absence of hygiene, and everything including god's wrath hitting us.

And yet, with the invent of medicine and drugs it all changed, as we became culturally programmed with this very false notion that we are some fragile creatures with our very survival heavily relying on medicine.

Then another army of brainwashers showed up in great numbers, telling us how we are bound to perish if we don't follow their recommendations for consumption of the "only right" foods, along with their own magic pills.

With both becoming fierce rivals on the health market, medicine and Big Pharma got enough power extended to legislature as to make drugs and scalpel "the only officially" allowed method of curing us of any sickness.

We have all heard about a few of those inventive minds in the field of healing with alternative means, who came up with some brilliant, cheap, and effective ways to cure cancer -- only to be prosecuted for "practicing unlawful medicine". Well, cancer is a multi-billion dollar business, and it is not to be compromised.

None of that is preventing the supplement industry from gaining their popularity, especially after some spectacular number of yearly screwups by the medico-pharmaceutical establishment resulting with deaths -- not to mention all those damages from side effects of their products.

We could add to that the well known fact that medicine is mostly taking care of the symptoms, while not addressing the underlying causes.

To scare us further, this industry of "natural" products keeps trumpeting about air pollution, water pollution, electronics pollution...with an untold "food sensitivities" -- which again makes us wonder how we are surviving without all those pills.

Of course, just like producers of vaccines these days are keeping quiet about our natural immunity, so are nutritionists keeping quiet about our two powerful filters -- liver and kidneys, that exist for that very purpose to take care of all that pollution garbage. We even exhale some with each breath and so much gets eliminated through our skin and the basic elimination process.

But, as we are about to see, every organ and function in our body, there including our immune system, can be royally screwed up by our modernized, heavily brainwashed belief system.

Well, as far as I care, let them go on with their business feud, while both sides have their good and bad qualities, and for quite long into the future we are bound to keep them both, sometimes benefiting and sometimes being their victims.

Quite ironically, though, those world communities known for their healthy, active, and even still horny centenarians, are heaving pretty simple, if not monotonous diets, and none are frequenting any doctors for either yearly checkups or for any health issues. Needless to say, they don't have any health food stores around to peck on those nutrients stuffed in pills.

Besides, they don't eat much -- as if they had heard about that alleged proverb of the ancient Egypt saying:

"Man can survive on one third of what he is eating -- and with the other two thirds he is feeding his doctor."

I personally like that one, while having practiced intermittent fasting for quite some years.

Could our mind keep us well -- along with some basic common sense eating.

You are not a mistake. You are not a problem to be solved. But you won't discover this until you are willing to stop banging your head against the wall of shaming, caging, and fearing yourself.

Fixing, or Having Nothing to Fix -- Is the Question

So, would it be possible to not only survive, but to enjoy life, without drugs and supplements?

What is medicine anyway?

While you already know the answer, let us put the emphasis on the fact that medicine has nothing to do with health -- only with fixing what is wrong with it.

Now, how is that different?

Health doesn't mean "an absence of sickness" just like happiness doesn't mean an absence of being pissed -- there is so much more to it.

Which somewhat reminds me of that silly joke about this man coming from the woods and telling his family how a snake just "saved" his life. Asked how, he said: "It didn't bite me".

We are so used to seeing everything good through its opposite, even daily thanking our god for his mercy of keeping us well. Sometimes I am prone to think how those super rich are not really "successful" individuals, but rather the ones whose survival instinct is overactive with a fear of scarcity, so they are pushed from within, just like those hoarders, to make more and more -- never enough.

Health is more an echo of happiness than we could possibly imagine.

Every cell in our body is constantly spying on our dominant moods, which then results with the level of our vitality.

As we look in the mirror, we see one person, but there are trillions of us, with each cell mimicking our personality -- as Dr. Bruce Lipton, the famed cellular biologist is telling us.

Just like there are only two basic emotions from which all others are derived -- love and fear -- so our cells have two modes of functioning: thriving and defending, with the more prominent one in us minimizing the other.

Indeed, our body cells are reacting to our assessment of "how friendly or not, and life-promoting or not, is our environment, our world, immediate one and global"; then according to what they sense, they calibrate our "vitality quotient". And of course, it's not about the "factual" reality, but how we are processing it emotionally, attitudinally, mentally, and by our base beliefs.

There is this trio in our functional constitution that is incredibly interdependent and working together -- our nervous, endocrine, and immune system.

Nervous refers to brain, endocrine refers to emotions, and immune to mobilizing our defenses.

As they are in a constant orchestration with one another, our crappy thoughts, especially those about our "insecurity in this unsafe world", trigger stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol, which then lowers our immunity -- making us sick.

Then we rush to our good doctor to fix something that we keep screwing up, now with this additional, secondary stressing over our health. What does he do? He removes the symptoms. He doesn't tell you to put your foot down and tell your mother-in-law to, once and for all, stop meddling in your household.

Instead, he gives you a medication for your acidy stomach. And, since that negative energy is now forced to find a fresh outlet for its expression, your chronic throat infections are the next -- the way that body sometimes symbolizes our holding in some due but unspoken words.

So, here we have an example of "fixing" something that didn't need to be fixed, if only we insisted on feeling happy and healthy by putting our meddling mother-in-law in place.

Please note that I am saying "insisting on happiness and health" -- because once that we are doing that, nothing follows that would require to be "fixed".

Health could be just a short step away from laughing, playing, loving, exploring, and -- choosing it all instead of waiting for it to happen.

Health could be just a short step away from laughing, playing, loving, exploring, and -- choosing it all instead of waiting for it to happen.

If we are creating ourselves all the time, then it's never too late to begin creating the bodies we want instead of the ones we mistakenly assume we are stuck with.

When Healing Means Having Nothing to Heal

Back there I said how our body cells live as replicas of our personality. Now, what needs to be added is that our body's language is energetic, that is -- emotional. And just like our brains keep the records of events and their "mental interpretations", our body keeps the record of "what situations were emotionally interpreted in what ways".

Our liver may keep all those records of our being pissed; and our lungs may remember all our sad moments, and so on. Then they pick up some "resemblances" in present situation with what they have in their archive, and serve us this or that mood.

Like that good doctor Joe Dispenza is repeatedly saying it in so many different ways -- "our body has become our mind", feeding us our attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs.

As it collects a critical mass of emotional negativity, our body lowers our immunity and makes us sick -- with anything from a hay fever to a heart disease of a cancer.

It is extremely unfortunate that we allow our body to act as our mind.

So, how do we become healthy, without having to "fix" anything?

In those cases of spontaneous remissions, where cancer patients miraculously got well without any medical intervention -- they achieved that by not thinking about their diagnosis, but by insisting on "enjoying the rest of those left over months predicted by their doctors".

In other words, they stopped all stressing themselves, and thus, unknowingly, assumed a psycho-physical model of functioning of someone who was healthy.

When we think, feel, and act as healthy humans, we repossess our mind from our body which had "sickness in mind".

It was Einstein who said: "We cannot solve a problem with the same mind which created it".

In this case, we have to yank our mind out of our body and do something "outlandish": Choose!

That's right. While our body only operates on some default and some acquired programs -- we, the conscious beings can snap out of that biological causality by choosing our thoughts, our emotions, and attitudes.

We can become pro-active consciousness, and stop being re-active biological automatons.

We can spy on our "spontaneous" input from our body, and recognize when it's serving us some crappy moods, even thoughts, and crappy assessments of our relationships. In other words, we don't have to let our body's archive to paint our life with negative positionalities which are mostly obsolete, oftentimes stemming all the way from our childhood.

This awareness that we have this choice has resulted with some transformational miracles in many people.

It's being said that our "energy follows our attention" -- so if we keep obsessing over our health, more of the same crap we are getting as the result. Then, if we choose to stubbornly insist on another emotional reality -- the opposite happens. We can't feel worried "enough" about our lousy health as to fix it.

Doctors will help in their own way, and we just love depending on someone or something "outside of us" -- not having to make an effort to be well and to stay well. That's the very reason which makes both, medico-pharmaceutical and nutritional giants prosper so well.

Has it ever occurred to you that it is not one bit in their interests to keep you well -- because then they would lose customers. With all their apparent "altruistic"
intentions to be helpful, it is not in their ultimate agenda to have a world without diseases.

Thus again, why not go proactive about our health, instead of being reactive? We can still use our health providers -- but "on the side" cultivate new attitudinal advantages that are more life-promoting than "fixing" what went wrong because of our neglect.

Then, who knows, maybe, after all, health really is possible without any doctors and nutritionists.

Let's see in whose hands we are placing our health -- beside all possible benefits of it.
