Writing is my passion. I have an undying thirst and quest in the field of writing. Some eat, drink, or use drugs when stressed; I write.
Life is too short, and happiness is too rare. So, why leave valuable words unsaid? There is a relevant quote to these words that say. “Life is short. There is no time to leave important words unsaid.” - Paulo Coelho, Brazilian novelist.
This phrase reminds everyone that they will not live forever, one must live and enjoy life presently. And they should say relevant words to the people they love.
There is no time to neglect crucial words being busy, under pressure, and feeling pulled from all directions. In a world where life is short, many miss listening to the other person and their viewpoint, which results in feeling unheard, even disrespected.
Most of us are busy “doing” so much that we don’t take the time to stop and enjoy life. What you need to do is take the time to stop focusing so much on capturing materialistic things, relax and enjoy living.
Maybe you are questioning how to know if you’re one of these people who live together in a perpetual state of unhappiness. To answer your question, individuals who are addicted to sadness sabotage themselves just as things are going well. They almost always seem down and see the world as gloom and doom as life to rob them of their joy.
Does this sound like you? If the answer is yes, you in a perpetual state of unhappiness. It is said “happiness is a choice” if that statement holds any truth, then why aren’t more people happy? I am not a professional counselor, I do not treat disorders or behavior, but in my experience, the perspective a person has in life determines their happiness.
Happiness’ is more complex than most might think. Some people seek to be happy, even when they have little, and some are unhappy despite having it all. Understanding happiness requires more than just simply feeling joyous; it’s the combination of a pleasant experience and the enormous suffering that teaches you much more about how to grow up into being a happier person.
For many of us, feeling happy and finding life meaningful is both necessary. You may have to choose between a happy life and a meaningful life because being happy and finding useful life overlaps.
There are three types of happiness you can experience, pleasure, passion, and purpose. Understanding each and their nature is excessively prominent. Each prototype has another effect on our well-being.
The first happiness comes from a person who desires to get what he or she wants and things turning out the way they’d like; although with this kind of joy, it is genetically short because a person can lose it unexpectedly.
The second type of happiness is more intense and longer-lasting. It is the type of joy that you feel when you work very hard for something or on something you care about a lot. The third one is the happiness you feel when you understand a mission and why you do what you love. This happiness is the strongest level of satisfaction and also the longest lasting.
Wisdom and Awareness for Lasting Happiness
A person who desires to be happy must understand, it begins with an understanding of the causes of misery. Happiness isn’t something you can enforce upon yourself, but something that comes from learning how we feel, and what we need.
There is no magic formula for happiness. The mind is a power transformer that can run our lives if we don’t take on the responsibility. We can assume the capacity by admitting our actions and not blame anyone for our mistakes.
It’s a struggle to develop awareness towards the intangibles in our lives — frustration, anger, self-pity, low self-esteem are the forms of mixed thoughts that influence the quality of life without consciousness. Manifesting internal knowledge is the key to your happiness.
It is through awareness that you can live in a vast, unending world and be happy. While learning how to create lasting happiness for yourself comes in different parts. And if you don’t fulfill each sector for joy, then the pleasure will always be hollow and fleeting.
Some may think they find happiness in the perfect relationship, a gigantic mansion on the beach, that fancy luxury car, and of course, wealth, power, fame, and influence.
Yes, we have these lofty goals and aspirations, and yes, many of us probably want money and authority to a sudden degree or another, most of these things. And on the surface, it may even appear that’s what it takes to give us a sense of power. However, the key to happiness is within the little things that we typically indulge in daily.
The secret to finding lasting happiness is through traveling your own individual path. And while you are so doing, nobody likes misery. Therefore, we must learn to examine a range of difficulties, victories, and defeats.
It helps you analyze yourself on a path; you experience euphoric highs and demoralizing lows to find lasting happiness in life. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts and your perspective on life.
It depends solely on what you believe and how you view the world. When you learn how to carry the conditions of happiness within yourself brings an outlook on things and events in life.
The joy we find in life, of course, isn’t all about the thing we “do,” it is rather things we “experience” as a result of the person we have become and the perspectives we have selected over the course of a lifetime. Long-lasting happiness mainly comes from within and the choice we make in our everyday life.
There are always things to be learned from ordinary occurrences. For me, I learned no matter what happens; I’ll eventually get what I want as long as I cope with it constructively, nothing can get me down. Happiness is about satisfying the Six Human Needs, but most importantly, it’s about learning, growth, and improvement. Cherish life; life's short. Spend it happy.

Hi, Lanecia, thank you for your comment, I love how you seek to find happiness, in the things that cannot be replaced in life. I feel if more did the same things they would find happiness as well.

You mention excellent points in your article.
You are absolutely right! Deciding to be happy is a choice that we all should make if we want to avoid living a sad life. I didn't realize how short life really is until recently.
There are many people out there who find happiness in wealth or material things as you mentioned above, but when these things are gone, so is their happiness.
I try to find happiness in the things that cannot be replaced in life.
Such as investing in my health or attaining information in a subject I would like to perform better in.
You provided an excellent article, and thank you for sharing!
