It is normal for a person to feel anxious every once in a while. Anxiety is a normal emotion. For instance, you could feel anxious when faced with a problem in the workplace, prior to seating for a test, or before you have to make a life-changing decision.

- Not being able to remain calm and still
- Dry mouth
- Tingling hands or feet

You can use the following tips to manage the symptoms associated with anxiety disorders. They include:
- Tip#1. Reduce your intake of drinks and foods that contain caffeine, e.g., chocolate, coffee, energy drinks, cola, and tea. Caffeine has long been known to be a mood altering drug. Taking too much caffeine can, therefore, worsen your anxiety disorder symptoms.
- Tip#2. Make sure you are maintaining a good diet. In addition, be sure to get enough sleep. Simple aerobic exercises such as biking and jogging will help you release the brain chemicals that are known to cause stress. In return, you will get to experience better mood levels during the day.
- Tip#3. Anxiety disorders have normally been known to go hand in hand with sleeping problems. It is essential that you ensure that you are getting enough quality sleep. Try and come up with a custom relaxing bedtime routine. If you still continue to experience problems before falling asleep, ensure that you speak with your physician.
- Tip#4. Request your pharmacist or doctor for advice before you start taking any medication to help you with the sleeping problem. Some of these medications may contain chemicals that will make it harder for you to deal with the anxiety symptoms.

- Psychotherapy. It is kind of counseling that will help you address the kind of emotional responses that you experience towards mental illnesses. You will need to work with a mental health specialist who will try to help you understand the numerous ways that you can use to deal with anxiety disorders.
The only way to know that a mental health care provider will help you overcome this disorder is by checking whether you are comfortable talking to them about your anxiety issues. If not, take your time to find the right one, and be sure to confide to those closest to you on the kind of issues that you may be facing.
