We are all very guilty of putting the kettle on to boil water and before we can use it; the water cools down, and we re-boil it again. If you are wondering what happens when we allow the water to cool down after boiling it and then simmer it again, read on.

Many of us think nothing of re-boiling water in the kettle to make our morning coffee, but to explain what happens when you boil water. Boiling water kills good and bad bacteria but allowing the water to cool down let the precipitant to settle to the bottom of the kettle. And you re-boil the water without taking into consideration the chemistry of the water has changed, and it is detrimental to your health.

You should never re-boil water, especially when arsenic material is exposed to it causes health issues such as neurological diseases, infertility, cancer, cardiovascular disease, skin lesions, and developmental disorders.

Damaging effects of re-boiled water come from the surface of the vessel, it resurfaces after chemical dissolve into the water. Concluding words, If the water you boiled is entirely pure, distilled, de-ionized water, it is okay to re-boil the water. If it is a faucet or tap water, it contains dissolved gas and minerals, making it unsafe to re-boil.

When tap water is re-boiled. The chemical compounds increase and become harmful. The hazardous substances do not dispose of. Instead, it accumulates.
