Our subconscious is based on the belief, which is built from past incidents and experiences of our life. Some of these are true and some of them are false. This leads to conclude that we can train our subconscious to form a new belief and make things happen. If a farmer will sow seeds in the ground and will water and add nutrients while applying fertilizers and removing weeds then he has a deep faith that the produce will flourish and he will harvest it to have the food gains. He waits for the perfect time of the season and works hard continuously.
The human mind also works similarly as land and we are the farmers. What we want to accomplish or acquire resembles the seed. We need to remind our subconscious mind about the goal. The regular reminder works just like the farmer waters and nourishes the land. The removal of weeds is similar to protecting our subconscious mind from ambiguous and adverse thoughts. It is crucial to have faith and to reach the goal in your mind’s eye on a subconscious level before actually reaching it consciously. This can be applied to the example of the farmer who continuously works in the field having the faith that he will harvest the crop one day.

How our Subconscious Mind Works?
The subconscious mind has unlimited potential and ultimate power. Our subconscious is connected with the universal power at a deeper level of consciousness of our mind. This helps to fulfil or achieve any dream or goal. Our subconscious works with the reference point of our strong faith and belief, which you have built over time. Hence, to train our subconscious mind to accomplish something, you should visualise it, imagine it, and have a faith in it followed by the routine practice. Eventually, after some time or so you will start getting the result.
Our subconscious cannot what is real and what is imaginary. It is just like dreamy or hypnotises state wherein we feel everything happening is so real. To accomplish our goal we should also believe we are accomplishing it at the subconscious level.
To make you feel that the accomplishment happening Murphy suggest to use affirmations in present continuous tenses, e.g. “I am getting healthier, wealthier and prosperous every day”. Similarly, we can also formulate our affirmation sentences according to our goal. These kinds of affirmations help to build our belief system strong and prevent the logical mind to argue to negative internal talks.
Why do We Think Negative and Adverse?
By default out mind is not trained to stay focused. Along with that in today’s digital era, we continuously distracted now and then. As a result, we are unable to accomplish our task or goal. This leads to anxiety, low self-esteem, and provokes negativity and confusion. These things subsequently give negative signs to our subconscious. Hence, all our efforts to reach the goal become worthless and we have to restart from the beginning. There is a direct relationship between our focus and getting the work done. A much focus we will be to do something we will put more effort to accomplish anyhow. Subsequently, the work is done with time.
Why do Some People Fail to Train Their Subconscious?
As explained earlier our subconscious obeys the instructions given to it irrespective of being good or bad. The lack of concentration leads to deviate from our main goal. It results self-doubts, worry and finally ends up with unfinished goal. While training the subconscious we mainly fail in these three stages.
- Continuous training our subconscious without distraction
- Visualizing the progress every day
- Firmly believing one day, it will be achieved.
Once, after training a few weeks we do not realizing the progress then we start questioning. Star thinking negatively this give our subconscious the confusing directions to follow. This eventually ends up with no result. Then, some of these people say that it is just a good story and forces others to believe without doing any thinks without performing and appropriate action. It is hard to understand and believe for these kind people.
