A few months ago, I purchased a small gym bag from Nike for $20. It was perfect for my needs. It was small and relatively cheap. It help a pair of boxing gloves, my hand wraps, my jump ropes, and had some extra space for a sweater. As my boxing equipment grew, I quickly realized I had to upgrade my duffle bag. I went to The Sports Authority and purchased the Under Armour Medium Team Duffle bag. It was the perfect size for my needs. I could now carry an extra pair of gloves, a headgear, and some target mitts. Originally, I was looking to get the same Nike bag that I had but in a size bigger. As I was shopping around, the Under Armour duffle bag won me over.
The bag measures 23" x 11" x 12". It's constructed in Under Armour's signature Nylon Hexagon Ripstop fabric. The bag in laced in this fabric making it look like a honeycomb. It looks nice. I suppose if the bag encounters a tear, the hexagonal ripstop would help prevent further damage as it appears to be stitched. Almost as if the walls of each hexagon is embroidered. The stitching is well done and the hand straps are very durable. The zippers are heavy and high quality. The shoulder strap is excellent. It features a rubberized side that is supposed to rest on your shoulder to prevent slipping and that piece is slightly curved to be more comfortable. There are pockets on each end of the bag and there is an over-sized side pocket that has a mesh strip. I like that over-sized mesh pocket. It's perfect for my hand wraps. When I am done training, I need a pocket that is breathable and will allow my sweaty wraps to dry. The mesh pocket is also big enough to fit a couple of shirts. There is also a mesh bungee on one of the end pockets that is perfect for a sweater.
One thing that I didn't notice until I got home was their patented roll out mat. The bottom of the bag has these 4 spiked "legs" that help prevent the bottom from getting scratched up. I can also see these spiked legs helping the bag stay planted if it was on a hill or incline. As I got home, I noticed a zipper at the bottom of the bag. I unzipped it and pulled out a "mat". I read the tag and this mat is designed to be sat on. Under Armour wanted to give you the option of sitting on this mat instead of a damp field. This was a nice touch! Although the quality wasn't that great, the design itself was excellent and intelligent. The material looked similar to a thin shower curtain and Under Armour said it was water resistant, not waterproof. I have to say, the option was nice to have.
Overall, this is a very nice gym bag. It has enough room for another change of clothing or for me, some extra boxing gear. The fit and finish is excellent. Every zipper has the Under Armour logo and name stamped on it. The embroidering is very good. The honeycomb ripstop pattern makes the bag look very nice. Whether it adds to durability, I can't say for sure but it is appealing. The hand and shoulder straps have the Under Armour logo weaved right into it which is a nice touch. All compartments are roomy. The roll out mat is thin and sub-standard compared to the rest of the duffle bag but it is adequate and it will get the job done. Overall, I think this is a very nice gym bag. I can see this bag lasting me for years. I paid the full MSRP of $40. I sold my smaller bag for $15 so $25 for the upgrade is not too bad. Under Armour is still a fairly new company to me but their products are very high quality. I might even try a pair of their sneakers come this spring.

Your welcome Bassam! This bag is really good. I didn't think I would like it this much. Plus it looks great! That Hexagonal ripstop looks fantastic in person.
