True Beauty Comes From WIthin
Your soul is the essence of who you really are.
True Beauty Comes From Within
True beauty comes from within. The WORD of GOD is so very precious! It is bursting with a wealth of delightful spiritual wisdom. I understand more each day why the Lord tells us to “hide it in our hearts, so we might not sin against Him..." As we embrace His Word it washes, renews and cleanses us from sin. Only God can see into our hearts. It is also from the depth of the heart that a wellspring of love and truth come forth. It is here our TRUE BEAUTY resides.
GOD is LOVE! HIS Love is not in any way superficial it is imbedded deeply into the fabric of who we are. Each day is a day to grow in the grace of God. As we do He manifests and multiplies the Fruit of His Spirit within us. Love is a part of this Fruit. A part of love is correction. His Holy Spirit brings it forth as we embrace the principles of God. He disciplines us. Through Him we better learn how to love and properly express His Love to others. God's love lasts through eternity. Life becomes a marvelous adventurous journey as we consistently embrace God and His principles. His true beauty begins to shine through us as we grow in His grace.
Life brings about a plethora of varied experiences, some bad, some good.
The Scriptures says:
“ Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep His statues and seek Him with ALL their heart.” Blessed means to be happy and consecrated by God. God did not intend for His Word to just become mere letters on a papyrus (paper). He meant for it to become ALIVE within our soul to feed us and nourish us spiritually and emotionally so we could walk in His precepts. To help us go through whatever life presents to us, Blessed because we trust Him! One can then say Halllelllujah Anyhow! Therefore this is why we pray;
“Our FATHER, which art in HEAVEN, HALLOWED be YOUR NAME, YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE on earth, as it is in HEAVEN. Give us today our DAILY BREAD…” In other words thank You Holy Father for your precious Living Word & Your indwelling Holy Spirit & Comforter.
It is often said “What comes from the heart goes to the heart.” This actually is a quote given to us by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. There is a heartfelt sincerity when one speaks from the wellspring of their heart.
It is through the many experiences we encounter in life we grow one way or the other. It is important that we are not embittered by those experiences. However you can learn how to guard your heart instead. The person to compete with is yourself. Strive and thrive to be the "Best You!" Knowing that the Lord did not create you to be a duplicate of someone else will set you free. Learn to find contentment in being "PECULIAR" in a good way. We always can emerge triumphantly and rise above whatever has happened, is happening or will happen with the help of the Lord.
Life itself takes on a form of beauty when you access your heart’s wellspring. You perceive things differently. As you grow spiritually your soul is revived as well. Spiritual growth comes from spending time with God, knowing His Word and applying it to your own personal life daily.
Your soul is the essence of who you really are. It is the heart of you. It is were true beauty lies. God has given each of us a unique temperament. "Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you!" It is from Him we can better understand who he has created us to be. God has created us to worship Him.
Worshipping GOD is important
Many attend worship services regularly; but quite often they do not take the time to daily read and meditate upon the Word of God. They need and crave an audience. So quite often they will adapt and do whatever is necessary to be accepted. They find more comfort in others than in their relationship with the Lord. It is difficult for them to spend time alone with God. Often than not you will find that they will actually spend only a few moments in the Word. Some do not ever open their Bibles all week long. If this is true you need to make a change. God's Word is our necessary essential spiritual food for our mind body and soul.
Commit to spending time with the Lord throughout the week in HIs Word. Simply by opening up His Word and asking the lord to speak to your heart is a good place to start.
It is important to make God your focus during worship. God wants to be a part of every aspect of our daily lives. He is the Giver and Sustainer of Life. Almighty God is omnipresent. Know without doubt that He is always near. Yes remember; "Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you."
Seek daily to live your life before: "An Audience of One!"
God knows who we all are and who belongs to HIM! When you are truly HIS you can expect much spiritual warfare on this side of heaven. We live within a spiritual warzone. But "our weapons are not carnal..." This is why it is so important to get to know Christ Jesus as your personal SAVIOR and embrace and daily apply His Word to your life. We can forever trust God and His Word. We can call upon Him 24/7 wherever we are! Christ Jesus came so we might have life and have it more abundantly... He was born of the Virgin Mary. He lived an absolutely sinless life. He overcame sin, death and the grave for us all! Yes, He was crucified upon the cross and there He died, and was then buried, but PRAISE BE TO GOD HE AROSE WITH ALL POWER! "THANK YOU HALLLELLLUJAH!!!"
There is an indwelling inner peace that comes from knowing who you are in Christ Jesus. Only GOD can give you His deep abiding inner peace. It surpasses the understanding of man/woman. You then know that nothing comes your way that He is not aware of. The tests of man/woman do not prove the righteousness of GOD!
Yes, CHRIST JESUS IS ALIVE and so is HIS WORD! For HIS WORD is our SPIRITUAL SWORD; it is sharper than any two edge sword. It spiritually cuts both ways when properly used. HIS WORD is what feeds our eternal souls. It is our necessary essential spiritual food for our mind, body and souls. It builds our minds and hearts and provides us with a "Solid Rock Foundation!" Whenever a test, trial or celebration comes our way we must learn to STAND upon the WORD of GOD.
"GOD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLES;" WHENEVER WE STAND UPON HIS WORD!
We must always keep in mind HIS weapons are not carnal. They are not like the weapons the world uses. Nor can the world ways ever yield the FRUIT of HIS SPIRIT. We on the other hand must KNOW GOD and the POWER of JESUS CHRIST through HIS WORD! We never become the power we just gain access. During a battle we want to make sure our inner beauty is not suppressed. It is still possible for it to shine through... Not because of who we are but because of whose we are...This is why we meditate, pray and ask to be filled daily. We should always want the Light of the Lord to shine through us. With the Lord we are able to "Walk in the Light! " He has given us the gift of HIS HOLY SPIRIT as our COMFORTER! This is also what helps us to discern the things that are not of Him. In the Lord we can be secure because we know He has promised to "never leave nor forsake us!"
GOD IS OMNIPRESENT!
Whatever comes in life know that true beauty comes from deep within. True beauty is not worn it cannot be put on or taken off. It is from this spiritual place deep inside of us where a wellspring comes forth. Here one discovers and retrieves the veiled beauty that has been pre positioned in one’s soul.
However; please do make it a point to enjoy whatever it is you put on. Dress not for others. But feel free to express yourself about life in how you dress or don't dress wherever you may be. Especially in the privacy of your home. Whether if it is PJ's or a gown, a dress or a suit, pants or a skirt, or even an apron or a robe? Express you and your freedom! Not how others think you should be. Develop your own style. You only live this life once...
There is so much confusion now as to what a man or a woman should wear and when. To wear makeup or not to wear make up and how much? To pierce or not to pierce or where? To tattoo or... You do not have to be a chameleon nor a clone. This has all attributed to the massive move towards unisex dressing. It is getting harder to tell who is what in some cases... No wonder so many of this generation is so confused. God has given us natural distinction between man and woman. The lines and boundaries have been terribly blurred. Just know we all at some point will have to be accountable to God our Creator and Maker. Lord Help Us!
Be or become: " The Designer's Original! " Whatever you do do not follow the masses.
It is within the depths of our soul one can encounter this precious internal, eternal fountain. That brings forth and emits a deeper beauty that has been coded into our souls by our Creator. It was knitted into us before we were in our mother’s wound. You really can learn to become comfortable within your own skin. There is always room for improvement in all of us as long as we are on this side of Heaven. But having good boundaries will keep you from walking around in the buff or allowing your pants to sag down to your knees. My point here is discipline and healthy boundaries are always good. Know how to cover or uncover yourself... God has made us marvelously tri-dimensionally. We are body, mind and soul. We are created in His image!
“For you created my inner most being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. ALL the days for me were ordained... ” Psalm 139
Yes, there is also a surface beauty that one can see but sometimes you will find that it does not always go very deep. This is the case when it is not embedded into the essence of one’s soul. God has supplied us with an endless array of spiritual wisdom. Our souls must be continually nourished with the WORD of GOD to allow His beauty to flourish within us... I Peter says, that in order for our beauty not to fade away it has to come from our “ inner self, the unfading beauty of a quiet gentle spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” This does not mean one has to become silent or passive, rather it is quite proactive! We must be strong in the Lord! It comes from a deep place that yields discipline & self-control..
It is truly when we put our Hope and Trust in the Lord, we can discover the True beauty that is deep inside. This beauty that comes from within is because of our deep rich inner life with God! It is reflected in our lives and also on the countenance of our faces! “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers…” PSALM 34
We can always forever trust God and His Word! "The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is Good; Blessed is the man that trusteth in HIM. O fear the Lord ye His saints; for there is no want to them that fear HIM..." Psalm 31
"Pray without ceasing" and take "Praise Breaks" all throughout your day. This keeps you connected to the Lord. This also keeps you content in the Lord. He will allow His light to shine through you. Remember Christ Jesus is our "Best Witness!" He knows us all from the inside out... REJOICE IN HIM!!! Seek the Lord above all else daily and Bless & Praise His Holy Name! For truly God is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent.

In deed good words. You chose great verses to prove your point well.
I am writing a devotional for girls from Psalm 139. I have had to spend a lot of time on the 'heart'. What is on the inside comes out right? And what goes in comes out. Good hub!
