Fresh Moringa Tea

I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for a way to improve my health. And if that means changing up my morning routine from coffee to something healthier like Moringa tea- sign me up!

It might sound weird at first, but hear me out. One of the reasons why Moringa tea is so great is because it has been shown time and time again to be rich in antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties. It includes iron, calcium, vitamins A & C, and many other things your body needs daily. In addition to being healthy for you, this slight change could lead to weight loss or improved digestion! How cool is that?

This blog post will show you why you should consider replacing your morning coffee with this delicious and healthy alternative.

1. Moringa tea has all the benefits of coffee, without any negatives

Coffee does have its advantages. It perks you up when you feel worn out and gives that extra boost of energy every morning we all need to get started. However, coffee can also dehydrate your body, increase blood pressure and even cause seizures in some people.

Every year hundreds of Americans are hospitalized due to caffeine intoxication. How is this possible? As a stimulant, it over-stimulates the central nervous system and the liver, leading to increased stress on your heart and more rapid breathing. Coffee also inhibits your body’s ability to absorb iron and other nutrients. So if you're consuming coffee every morning for an energy boost but aren't getting enough nutrients, you're hurting yourself more than helping!

You can probably link coffee to specific cancer types, like breast, colon, and bladder. While the link between coffee and cancer isn't clear, it's something many people worry about when drinking their morning cup of Joe.

A study showed that Moringa has similar antioxidant levels to green tea, potentially linking to reducing cancer. With Moringa tea, you get all the benefits of coffee without any of the downsides.

2. Moringa is a natural superfood with more nutrients than spinach

Moringa is a superfood, and it's not that new of a trend. It has been around for thousands of years due to its medicinal properties. There are over 100 plants in the Moringa family, and only three have edible leaves- the rest are used medicinally or for other purposes. But you've never heard of it because it's from Africa, Asia, and South America- not North America.

Moringa has 100 different nutrients in one leaf, including vitamins A, B1, B2, C & E, and protein. An average-sized moringa tree produces up to 200 fruits. One fruit alone can provide a family of 5 with all the nutrition they need for an entire year.

And while Moringa isn't new, it's only recently becoming popular with health-conscious people in North America looking to improve their diet and overall wellness.

3. It’s affordable and easy to find in stores or online

If you're a coffee drinker who wants to give Moringa tea a try, don't worry! It's not difficult to find, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. You won't be driving around town looking for the right store that has it in stock or waiting on some delivery guy. If you have access to the internet, you have access to Moringa! It's that easy. I buy my moringa tea online and have it shipped to my house right away for convenience. I Usually buy it online from an online retailer in Canada called Leaves of Magic. They stock Moringa tea and Fairtrade Moringa powder.

4. Easy to Make

Simply boil water, add one teaspoon of leaves per cup of liquid, and then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

All you need is a pot, some water, and moringa leaves. You can boil it on the stove and pour it into a cup, just like regular tea or, in my opinion, more fun- add cold water and serve over ice. It will cool you off in the summer and keep you warm in the winter.

You can also purchase dried leaves instead of using fresh ones. They normally come in sealed packaging to keep them fresh.

Moringa tea is a delicious and healthy alternative to coffee. Moringa tea has all the benefits of coffee, without any negatives. Coffee has its advantages and downsides that many consumers worry about, like increased blood pressure or seizures in some people. So if you're looking for an energy boost with no side effects, consider giving this superfood a try!
