Back Injury Treatment
Injuring your back is debilitating because you are in so much pain. Pain is the most problematic aspect of an injury. I hurt my back while playing racquetball. I am playing again and working out because I used arnica ointment and homeopathic tablets.
My back is still healing, but much better. Using extensive chiropractic treatment augmented by pain-free exercises worked wonders on my back. While healing my back, I did not take any drugs, meaning no painkillers, anti-inflammatories, or aspirin-type pills.
I took supplements and herbs to help with the pain and inflammation with great success. I continued my natural healing regimen with homeopathic Arnica.
I added turmeric and the omega supplements to my diet. I experienced the best results using Arnica. It is my favorite of all the compounds for treating pain, and I don't use it anymore, with 90% of my pain is gone.
During my healing process, I notice discomfort if I didn't take my homeopathic tablets. I went days without taking the tablets and using the ointment. My usage or Arnica depended on my activities.
Arnica and Bruising
I knew about Arnica ointment for black and blue bruises from playing racquetball. If I had a black and blue bruise on my leg, I used Arnica as an ointment, rubbed it into the bruise, and it healed faster.
It didn't happen often, but any bruise from the ball hitting my legs, arms, and back is when I applied the ointment when I did get hit. Getting hit by a whizzing racquetball during a game is expected. The courts are small in comparison to the speed of the ball. The bruises created by racquetball hits are not pretty but painful. People's curious looks at my black and blue bruises tend to think someone roughed me up.
Using the Arnica to speed the healing process is two-fold. In all, Arnica speeds the healing process and takes some of the pain away from the bruises.
Arnica Does It Work?
University of Maryland Medical Center reports that Arnica "has been used for medicinal purposes since the 1500s and is still popular today. Applied to the skin as a cream, ointment, lotion, salve, or tincture, arnica has been used to soothe muscle aches, reduce inflammation, and heal wounds. It is commonly used for injuries such as sprains and bruises.''
Heed to the understanding that you don't take the natural source of arnica orally, says the website and label on the container. The homeopathic version of Arnica is exceptionally diluted, thus not harmful or dangerous. The supplement works well and helps heal the body.
I apply Arnica gel, oil, or ointment to the area of my injured back and rub it into my neck when it is sore or stiff. When I had intense from my back and down my sciatic nerve, I took the homeopathic tablets one to three times a day.
My preferences are Boiron Arnica Ointment and Boiron Arnica Montana 30C tablets. I use the cream and take the tablets when I think of it, which means when my back is bothering me. It works like magic, and the pain goes away. Boiron offers a package of both the ointment and tablets.
There are other types of Arnica tablets, such as 6C, 200C, and so forth. It is best to study up on which kind of Arnica you should take with so many options. The topicals seem the same. The brand is the difference, and it is up to you to decide which brand you like best.
Arnica Before Surgery
The medical field reports the benefits of taking Arnica 30C before and after surgery. Taking Arnica 30C will help your body heal better and faster.
Most doctors advise taking Arnica Montana 30C tablets the night before the surgery. However, my daughter took it a week before surgery, five tablets, once a day, and she recovered from her teeth extraction quickly and virtually painless.
To help recovery from surgery, you take five tablets three times a day after the surgery. You continue until the little tablets are gone.
Natural Pain Relief
Arnica ointment comes from a tall yellow flower grown in America, Canada, and Europe. The balm is strictly for treatments on the skin. The homeopathic Arnica tablets are taken with the ointment as well. I purchase the herb as a topical cream, gel, oil, and homeopathic pills for oral treatment.
Where Does Arnica Grow?
Drugs or Arnica
I was at a natural food store, and a woman was picking T-Relief ointment instead of Boiron. I asked if her choice worked for her pain. She said, "Yes. My chiropractor recommends this brand because her patients respond well to it."
So, I bought the Arnica ointment and then brand pills. Yes. The brand is strong and lasts longer.
You need to discover for yourself which brand of Arnica works best for your body. You can even visit a homeopathic doctor and, together, determine with the brand or type of Arnica is best for you.
Arnica: More Benefits
The medical field continues to research and discover an extensive range of possible applications for Arnica. Homeopaths and doctors advise Arnica for treatments that include headaches, childbirth, mental burnout, shock, jet lag, burns, tinnitus, insect bites, acne, scars, and acne. The sequence of treatment depends on the individual case accordingly. For the most reliable results, visit your healthcare provider for a one-on-one consultation.
