Our mind controls our body. Our thoughts completely influence our life. I want to show in this article how thoughts can influence our lives.
Mind and Thoughts
Have you ever heard someone talk about the power of thought? Our mind has a remarkable influence over us. What is on our minds influences the way that we act. Reflect on this for a moment: When something makes us angry, the more we think about it, the angrier we get. When we are sad, it can seem like our mind is a dark room full of sad thoughts. Anyway, our thoughts influence us a lot. I remember I used to hear this a lot a few years ago in some consultations with psychologists. They used to say: good thoughts produce good deeds. One thing is for sure, what is on our minds influences our life.
Especially people dealing with anxiety or depression or some other type of mental disorder need to deal with that kind of thinking. All of us, at one time or another, will go through this. Negative thoughts about yourself can destroy your self-esteem, self-confidence, peace, and joy. The point is: negative thoughts are dangerous. Do not let that kind of thought weigh on your heart. It will be hard to deal with that later. If you know someone who has negative thoughts, or if this is the case, what can you do to get through this situation? Speak. Yes, speak all your negative thoughts out loud, whether with your parents, partner, friend, or a trusted person, but do not stop talking. Using an illustration to explain the importance of speaking, Think about a boat. And if a ship becomes full of water, what will happen? It will get so heavy with water that it will sink. For this not to happen, it is necessary to throw the water overboard. Likewise, negative thoughts are like water in our hearts. We need to get them out of our hearts. We need to get them out, and the only way to do that is by talking. We also need to find what is causing these thoughts. Are they because of trauma? Is it a dark time? A problem? Emotional pain? Seek help from a trusted person and do this, empty your heart and look for what is causing these thoughts. After that, put a bandage on this wound. Things will get better with time and if necessary, do it again. You also can make a list of the things you like most about yourself or texts that increase your self-esteem. Always keep these with you, and in bad times, read them. That can also help.

What is the connection between these three subjects? People who self-mutilate often think that when they do this, they turn emotional pain into physical pain to get relief or think they deserve to feel that pain as a form of self-punishment. Thoughts like that are not good. Self-harm is not good. It is not okay for a person to purposely hurt themselves because they are in emotional pain. It is not easy, and it can be cumbersome to talk to anyone about it. Well, I went through this for a while. And yes, I was ashamed to say I am doing this. But calm down. I will say a few things that can help and alleviate this pain. First, I get back to talking about the importance of talking to someone about this. Speak up, say to someone you trust, and open your heart. Empty your heart. When you feel like cutting yourself, take a breath and do something else. You need to vent all your thoughts and feelings in those moments, so take a walk, listen to music, dance if you like dancing, call a friend or draw if you enjoy it. There is a technique that some people use, scribbling on a sheet of paper or just tearing up the sheet. The goal is: find one that brings you relief\ that helps you relax. In time, things will get easier.
Suicide. Many people who commit suicide want to end the pain they are feeling and not their lives. The pain can be so great, and the thoughts can be so strong that they can lead a person to take their own life. Depression and other disorders affect the life of a person and are not easy to deal with them. People who have tried to commit suicide need to talk with someone, and more than that, they need all the support and love. When thinking about suicide, think for a moment just about all the happy moments you have ever lived. The pain can be so great. And because it is emotional pain, no one can see it. But always remember that no pain lasts forever. This pain will pass, this moment will pass, and everything will be better. Do not give up. Do not give up on yourself and the people you love. It may seem for a moment that the life of everyone would be better without you or something like that, remember this is not real. That is the pain speaking louder than the truth. Get help, talk to a friend, talk to a therapist, and if you do not want to identify yourself, look for suicidal support, and you can have an anonymous conversation about what you are feeling. The point is, do not allow heavy, negative thoughts to weigh on your heart. Do not give up on life.
Think about it:
A kind gesture can change a person's day.
Good thoughts bring joy, hope, peace, and self-confidence. Thinking positively will help you act positively. One thing that can help is meditating. When we meditate on good things, we fill our minds with positive things, good energy, peace. It is not easy to maintain positivity. If we stop to think, 50% of the things around us are stressful but try hard. It will make a big difference in our life. Think of three things you are grateful for every day. Try to vary those things. It will bring joy and also help with positive thinking. Hug a person you love, say love you to someone, be kind to a stranger or take a look at nature, see how many amazing things there are around you. These little actions can and will help you stay positive. When you fill your mind with positive things, it's even easier to think positive thoughts. A good thing that anyone can do is smile, say good morning or good afternoon to other people. With these small actions, you will make your life more positive and pass positivity to other people.

Happy thoughts promote happy attitudes
In the end
Our mind controls our body. That is the main reason why we need to take good care of our minds. Doing so involves taking care of everything we watch, hear, do or say. Remember: Our actions are affected by our minds and thoughts. Take care of your mind. Soon a new year will start, with many new opportunities, and keeping our minds positive will help. One time someone told me: loving thoughts generate loving actions. That is real. Happy thoughts help us to be glad and lighter.
