Being productive requires effort, emotions, and vigor.
Oftentimes, we are made to believe that improving our productivity depends on proper time management, which is not entirely the case.

For instance; most people get emotional and abandon their goals out of fear, anger, and frustration, but few use those emotions (fear, anger, and frustration), to accomplish their goals no matter how difficult it seems.
For those few, It is not an issue of just being motivated. They simply invest emotional reactions into accomplishing their task or projects.
Emotional reactions directly affect our choices. One can choose to use his or her emotions to stay productive and keep doing the work despite any challenges, or can choose to use them as a reason to quit and stop being productive altogether.
According to Swindoll’s famous saying- life is 10% what happens and 90% of how you react. Improving your rate of productivity solely depends on how you choose to react when feeling emotional.

It is helpful to listen to motivational speakers and read motivational books, but those things become useless if they are not pragmatic.
A lot of people have the wrong mindset towards motivational speeches and works because they think it is only useful in an idealistic manner, but that is a myopic perception.
Motivational speeches or works are made to put us in the right energy (just like listening to a piece of high-octane music) and to propel us to take significant actions. They are also made to help us realize our abandoned potentials.
Attend a hundred motivational seminars each year and read a hundred motivational books in the same vein, nothing would change except you take action and literally practice what you are learning from those seminars or books.
In addition, remember to always let your problems, failures, and challenges be the best motivation you need to always stay productive and to achieve results.
IV) Learn to Mind Your Business and Take it Seriously
Aside from the fact that it is irritating to interfere in people’s affairs, another major disadvantage is that it decreases one’s energy and productivity rate, especially if much attention is focused on:

Discipline yourself to take responsibility for your thoughts and actions, and let others take responsibility for theirs.
