How to Use Whey Protein
Whey protein supplements are used by those wanting to increase their muscle mass. A protein diet needs to be in conjunction with an exercise schedule. This is the simple way to prepare your protein shake:
- Add one scoop of the whey protein powder to about 6 ounces of water in a shaker cup, or tall glass, and mix thoroughly. Let the shake sit for a couple of minutes so that there are no lumps of dry protein present.
- It is best to drink the protein shake after a workout and before going to bed at night.
- To make the whey protein shake taste better, blend the protein powder with ice cubes and fruit (e.g. strawberries or a banana).
