How to Know If your hair fall is severe?

It is normal to lose 50-100 strands of hair in a day. Losing more than 100 strands/day is considered significant hair loss. You lose hair in bunches while combing your hair and shampooing. Telogen effluvium(sudden severe hair loss).It starts 2-3 months after a stressful event. Diffuse hair fall hair fall that occurs from all over the scalp. In this condition No bald patches are formed. If severe hair fall persists for a long time the scalp becomes visible. It is a temporary condition. New hair growth occurs in this condition. .


Take a healthy diet,Exercise regularly

Wash your head twice a week with mild shampoo

Avoid chemical treatment such as keratin treatment, Smoothening and Hair coloring

Avoid tight hair style

Avoid heating tools such as Curlers, Straighteners and Blow dryers

Consult your Dermatologist. He will perform blood tests to determine the cause of hair fall.

Thyroid level,nutritional deficiencies such as vitamin B12. Vitamin D3 ,Iron,Zinc,Biotin are checked.

Nutritional supplements are recommended

Hair serum for preventing hair fall is recommended such as procapil, capixyl.
