The future feels less definite every time we check our phones or watch the news. We could struggle to find serenity among these upsetting conditions when the COVID-19 epidemic affects an increasing number of individuals. Even with everyone's best efforts, it's still unclear when things will return to normal.
Our everyday lives are now also plagued by this uncertainty, which has us worrying about our jobs, money, friends, families, and other things. Even as followers of the Lord who know and love Him, we may find it difficult to fully experience peace at these times.

However, the Lord has promised real inner peace, the Bible promises us. Today, regardless of the situation, we'll examine the source of this tranquility and how we might feel it moment by moment.

Shut off social media

You should make every effort to avoid anything that would keep you from achieving inner peace. I uninstalled all of my social media applications from my phone when I began studying for finding real peace. As I did this, I soon noticed that I began checking social media far less often. I've been able to develop deeper relationships with the real people that I really care as a result. I also find that I worry less about what other people are doing and more about what I am doing. Disconnecting for a while allows you to concentrate on yourself and learn how to stop always comparing yourself to other people. This should be the first think you should do if you are really that serious.

Do something for others

Find opportunities in your area where you could do something for those who are in need. Maybe you could visit your neighbors and see if there is any need they have which you can assist in any way or means. Offer some services which you maybe currently doing right now and others may be in dire need of those services. Studies have shown that helping others has great benefits on health of those who are engaged in it. Helping others shows various benefits on health and well being on both male and female teens, claim Schwarts and others (2009) of the Journal of Happiness Studies from Tufts University. Helping people gives a sense of satisfaction which in turn contributes to once's peace of mind.

Start a new hobby

New learning is always exciting. Doing something you have never done before is worth trying. This is a kind of new adventure you can engage in. With advancement of technology today there is so much to learn. There is youtube, etc. to help you learn new things. There is a wealth of useful information you can absorb and help to improve yourself. Although hobbies are frequently associated with people who live calm, laid-back lifestyles, they may be be more beneficial to those who lead full, hectic, even stressful lives. The numerous advantages that hobbies offer typically outweigh the time commitment required. "Hobbies provide a slice of work-free and responsibility-free time in your schedule. This can be especially welcome for people who feel overwhelmed by all that they have to do and need to recharge their batteries by doing something they enjoy," states Dr. Elizabeth Scott.

Change your focus

Sometimes, we create our own stress in our minds because of our focus. Too often we focus on the things that are not really valuable. Things that are not of important value in this world. These are things that do not contribute to our well being. In short, we focus on the wrong things. Thus, this requires a change. Yes, a change of mind, a mental shift, a change of focus. Here, you need to ask yourself, "What is really the most valuable thing to me?" when you have answered that question, you will discover that the things of this world will grow dim and have no meaning at all. Spend more time with God

Some people merely maintain their composure no matter what the situation, be it navigating COVID-19 constraints, a terrible sickness, or a natural disaster.
Others ponder how on earth that could be. After all, when the globe is shook, many of us feel fear and anxiety.
It is possible to have the confidence that after the storms pass, everything will be okay. The verse Philippians 4:7 (NIV) states, "In Christ Jesus, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds"

To spend daily time with God, however, requires intention. You will find stability, serenity, and tranquility during this "silent time" with Him.

Final Thoughts

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27, NIV).

The Lord Jesus made a magnificent promise to bestow on us His serenity in this lovely scripture. Because He is the everlasting God of peace, He is the one and only source of genuine peace, which is entirely distinct from the peace that is provided by the world. There is no real or sustainable path to peace that can be taken anywhere in the globe. There is no reason for us to be disturbed or fearful since our loving Lord Jesus has given us the ability to experience real peace in spite of the seemingly difficult situations we are now facing.
