But when you brush your tongue with water, your mouth releases an enzyme called amylase that breaks down the sugars in food before they enter your bloodstream. This causes your blood sugar levels to rise, which signals your brain to stop storing fat. And flossing your teeth also helps because it removes bacteria from between your teeth and under your gum line. This reduces inflammation and prevents bad breath. All in all, losing belly fat fast doesn’t require extreme measures. All you need to do is change your diet and start using water to cleanse your mouth.
