What is healthy skin?

Healthy skin can be defined as soft skin without any roughness, wrinkles, or flaky surfaces.



1. Do get proper nutrition: For healthy skin, eating a healthy balanced diet is a must. Try adding protein-rich foods, green vegetables, and fresh fruits to your daily diet. In case you are suffering from any skin issues such as surgical wound and pressure sore then increase your intake of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins A, C, E, and zinc.

2. Get proper sleep: Our skin collects collagen while we sleep. So it is important to get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night to get healthy glowing skin.

3. Exfoliate Your Face: Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the skin's surface. Use gentle exfoliating ingredients like alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) to exfoliate your skin at least twice every month. However, never forget to apply sunscreen before stepping out into direct sunlight as exfoliation can make your skin sensitive.

4. Drink sufficient amounts of water: Hydrating your body with fluids is one of the key components of keeping your skin healthy. Drink around 2-liters of water every day.

1. Apply Chickpea flour: Scrub your face with chickpea flour daily. It is rich in magnesium which helps to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

2. Use honey as a face mask: Apply a thin layer of honey on the wet face for 20 minutes once per week. Honey is a natural exfoliator that can remove dead skin cells and brighten the skin's complexion. It contains antiseptic and antibacterial properties which are highly beneficial for acne-prone skin.

3. Use Aloe vera as a moisturizer: Aloe vera is a rich source of vitamins and antioxidants. Applying it on your face before going to bed every night can do wonders for your skin.

4. Turmeric mask: It has many antibacterial, antiseptic properties. Turmeric is known for its healing properties. 6} Rice Flour: It has anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidants properties that are used for skin whitening. remove blemishes, dark circles and get rid of acne. Mix rice flour with milk{If you have dry skin then add milk} or rose water{if you have oily skin }, apply it all over your face, leave it for 15 minutes then rinse off with normal water.
