Herbs For KIDNEY FAILURE-Diseases And DIALYSIS
As promised here is my second hub about kidney disease & Ayurveda.
Ayurveda has blessed with so many herbs to cure some of the most sensitive parts of our body like Kidney, Heart and Liver. And among them the Kidney & the Urinary system are the most important parts of our body.
Ayurveda has many herbs kidney failure, Dialysis and other diseases of Urinary System. Here I am going to introduce three best herbs from Ayurveda for all type of kidney disease, which can be taken along with any other treatment of modem medicine. These herbs are help to avoid DIALYSIS also. These herbs are the best herbs for kidney failure and useful to lower down increased urea and creatinine levels and other symptoms of kidney failure like swelling etc.
These herbs are Gokshur, Punarnava & Varun.
But first we get some knowledge about kidney failure.
Kidney Failure is also known as Renal Failure. Kidney Failure means when the kidneys cannot effectively filter toxins and other waste products from the blood. Kidney failures are two types one is acute and second is chronic. There are many possible causes of kidney failure including many diseases and different drugs. Diseases like Diabetes and High Blood Pressure-Hypertension are main cause of Chronic Kidney Failure.
Gokshur-Gokhru
Gokharu (Tribulus terrestris)
Gokshura in Ayurveda traditionally has been used for kidney failure from any reason, Urinary disorder, renal calculi, hypertension, diabetes and to improve libido. It can also improve Vitality and Vigour. Gokhru can increase the number and motility of spermatozoa, and also helps to remove some symptoms related to male menopause. Gokhru can reduce high blood pressure. And also reduce sodium and fluid retention.

Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa)
Punarnava
The name says “pun-nava” means New Again, Punarnava can rejuvenates the dying cells and helps to revive the dying organs of the body.
Punarnava is the second herb of my choice for kidney failure. Punarnava is diuretic and anti-inflammatory thus it helps to maintain proper kidney function. Punarnava is also very useful herb for oedema.
Punarnava work as a rejuvenator for the body. Punarnava is very much useful for diabetes patients who suffering from kidney diseases also.
Punarnava helps to remove harmful toxins from the kidney and helps to heal damages caused by any drug or any diseases like Diabetes.
Punarnava can be taken as an Iron supplements and fulfils iron deficiency in the body. So, it cures Anemia caused by poor kidney function.
Punarnava is very useful herbal diuretic so it can give relief in painful micturition.

Varun iis useful n benign prostrate enlargement, kidney failure, Varun (Crataeva Nurvela) is very useful in the treatment of urinary disorders caused by enlarged prostate. Varun is used in Ayurveda for urinary tract infections (UTI) and for renal stones also. It is very effective for Obstruction in urinary tract and helps in removing the renal stones. This herb is also very useful in kidney failure and increased urea.

Hi, I m Jamal uddin.. My father is suffering from chronic kidney problem... His creatinine is 1.4 and blood urea is 85 ...while his one kidney is shrink and other is not working fully... Kindly tell me solution.. Awaiting for your prompt kind response....
He is also asthmatic and Heart patient...taking blood thinner and antihypertensive pill..

Sir,
My brother is suffering from renal failure..when he was admitted to hospital his creatinine was 14 and urea level was 242.now after 1 month of dialysis his creatinine is 7.5 and urea is 126..Still he has to go for dialysis for thrice in week because after 2-3 days his creatinine and urea level gets increased to 1 point..Earlier this point was increasing in 1-2 days,now its increasing in 3-4 days...now his urine reports are improving..rbc is nil with less protein..haemoglobin raised to 10.1.Can my brother be cured from ayurveda.We dont want to go for transplant.

Avoid high protein diet like all dals, avoid fruits and some food are depend on condition of patient so it's better to consult your nearest doctor

as per situation of your mother, it is very difficult to treat with ayurveda, better to continue your medicine and if needed dialysis.
