Foods High in Iron
Eating two bananas a day can assist with reducing the symptoms of high blood pressure and anxiety. Bananas taste good, and they taste even better when they are ripe. A minimum of two bananas a day can give you a surge of energy. Most energy drinks are high in caffeine and sugars, our bodies definitely don't need to be overdosed with that. Eating bananas is great for other several reasons as well. Another reason to eat them is to decrease depression; it's been known that bananas contain serotonin. Serotonin is a chemical in our brain that keeps us in a relaxed mood. Myself personally, I like eating banana sundaes for dessert. I add one slice banana in a bowl, vanilla ice cream, a little Hershey's chocolate syrup, and a sprinkled topping of diced almonds. Eating bananas is a healthy food that is good for you in many ways.

- B6 - decreases inflammation in the body, and improves the nervous system
- Potassium - can reduce the risk of strokes and heart disease
- Iron - sends oxygen to the cells to prevent anemia
Oatmeal Contains Iron
Did you know that oats can improve our mental health, and boost brain power (prevent memory loss)? Oatmeal is high in iron; choosing to eat oatmeal is a lifestyle choice. Health wise, eating oatmeal daily can really change our physical health for the better. Try buying a box of 100% oatmeal in the Quaker box, choose the "one minute brand," not the instant oatmeal with all that sugar and stuff in it. You can add sliced bananas in your bowl oatmeal, with a slice of Land O'Lakes Butter, and two spoon of honey instead of sugar. Also you can add dried raisins or dried cranberries. Importantly, oatmeal is a natural colon cleanser; this is the best thing for your colon. Eating oats has to be a consistent process, to rid off any unwanted diseases such as type 2 diabetes.

Oatmeal has protein, iron, and is an antioxidant - which assist in the prevention of diseases such as cancer and coronary heart disease. Oatmeal is good for several health reasons. A couple of reasons are: reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes, helps to prevent anemia, and reducing the risk of heart disease.
To help with weight loss start eating oatmeal. Like I mentioned above, oatmeal is a natural colon cleanser. Eat oatmeal cookies that are more organic, and that does not have sugar. Not only is oatmeal a great source of fiber. If you're serious about weight loss, try taking a one week oatmeal weight loss challenge and you will notice a tremendous change in your weight loss. Choose to make oatmeal a part of your daily regular weight loss routine. There are many oatmeal products that you can buy such as oatmeal cookies, which can be a healthier snack choice than other cookies out there. But have you ever used oats for a facial, or used oatmeal soap for your bathes? Research has proven there are many uses for oatmeal.

Eating three eggs a week can reduce effects of eye problems, breast cancer, and actually helps against heart disease. Eggs consist of; protein, B vitamins, vitamin E, iron, and vitamin D. Eggs help in preventing anemia (low iron in the blood). Also with eating eggs your will hair grows faster due to eggs containing biotin vitamin.
100% Whole Wheat
Eating 100% whole-wheat products can assist with weight loss as well. Research shows wheat bran accelerates the metabolism of estrogen that is a known promoter of breast cancer; bread, pasta, bagels, crackers, cakes, and muffins are just a few of the foods made with this grain. If you select 100% whole-wheat products, the bran and the germ of the wheat will remain in your meals, and the health benefits will be work for you! Whole wheat (in its original non-enriched form) is a very good source of dietary fiber, and also is a good source of magnesium.
Did you know that 100% whole wheat is very high in iron vitamins, and assist in preventing anemia? Also look for wheat germ that is packaged in sealed containers (especially those that are vacuum packaged), as they will be more protected from potential oxidation. There you have it, eating 100% wheat products is a healthy food that is good for you.

There are many individuals that are anemic, and are iron deficient. And there are many foods that are high in iron vitamins, that can help prevent anemia. Here are the foods that are high in iron:
- Molasses (Blackstrap)
- Cream of Wheat
- Sunflower Seeds
- Green leafy vegetables
Did you know that foods that contain iron are better absorbed when taken with vitamin C foods, or vitamin C drinks? It's a fact. If your anemic or have low iron, always take vitamin C with your high iron foods, such as fruits or 100% orange juice. Foods that contain vitamin C are also healthy foods that are good for you.
