What has Sour Sop Tea Done for You?
We will use this hub to focus on soursop tea or graviola tea cancer cure testimonials. Many people out there are scared, hurting and searching for answers because they or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer. The best way to help others is to share your story.
One of my most popular hubs here has been "How to Treat Cancer with Soursop Tea/Graviola Tea." So many people have found a health mate in this plant - it is amazing. The response to the hub has been great, but now I would like to take it a bit further. I have read many testimonials on how soursop tea has helped to improved the health of many people. Here are some prompts for the responses I would like to see for this hub:
1. Did you, a loved one or someone you know start drinking soursop tea because of what you read in my previous hub named above?
2. What were the reason(s) you or any of these individuals started drinking the tea?
3. How long have you or this individual been drinking sour sop tea?
3. If the tea is being used for a cancer patient, have there been any improvements in health conditions?
4. If the tea is being taken for any other health condition, what is it (if you care to divulge) and have there been any improvements?

Please note that I would like to hear everything. Good and bad. As far as I am concerned, in the natural health industry we are our brother's keeper. There is no pharmaceutical industry to brand these herbs and feed us what they want to feed us about the benefits and negative effects.

My daughter-in-law had breast cancer. She told the doctor she was taking graviola. He told her "It can't hurt." Within 6 weeks the tumor had shrunk on its own and she went into remission. The doctors said they had never seen anything like it. Of course they did not attribute it to the graviola. They called it spontaneous remission. Go figure.

I recently made a batch of the tea from the leaves and stems for my mother and she has been on it for about 3 weeks now, she has breast cancer in her lung and other places, stage 4, since starting on the tea she has not been asking for pain medicine. we will see how her next CT scans look.

Please share with us how you prepare your soursop tea. I will select interesting preparation methods and highlight them in this hub.
Warning: I will ask from now that individuals who intend to post purely for the sake of advertising refrain from doing so. I will not publish your response. On my previous hub I had allowed, and even helped to promote where the herb could be obtained, but there is a limit and I will use my discretion on such postings.
That said, anyone wishing to give information on where people can find the GENUINE soursop leaves and bark, can leave a response and I will do my best to include that information as well.
Is There Anything Else You Wish to Say About Soursop Tea or the Fruit?
I mentioned in the previous hub that I do not eat the soursop fruit, but that my parents and siblings used it as a treat. The fruit is used to make a very nice rich drink (more like a punch) and can also be used to make pop sickle treats for the kids and of course adults who like to indulge.
I went home (where my mom and siblings still live) last week and sure enough there was some soursop juice in the fridge. I remember as a child, if there was no milk to make a punch my father would use lime to mix the sour sop juice. Oddly enough, that was the only way they could get me to drink it. I am not sure why I do not like the fruit. It always looks delicious the way they just break it open and devour the pulps. Just so nice and juicey, but ever since my first taste bud encounter as a child I just can't get myself to eat it.
That's just me anyway. I have been called weird for many of the things I do not eat or drink. That includes cheese, carrot juice, cows milk, cornmeal porridge and until all the way in my 20s sausages. The list goes on, but, my list of 'yuckies' is a not so long so I don't know why they bother me about it. Smiles. I somehow remember learning as a child that it is called food prejudice. Well, in spite of my prejudice, soursop is such a fantastic God given (or if you like nature-given) plant that blesses mankind from the roots to the leaves.
Preparing Delicious Soursop Juice/Punch
Is there a recipe you would like me to include here? Full credits will be given to whoever shares their recipe. I am not a fan of the kitchen and cooking, so while I absolutely love good food, I do not follow up recipes much at all. If you are the opposite, or you just have a nice soursop recipe you would love to share, then please indulge the rest of us.

Cassandra you have given me hope. I found out the my boyfriend has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and I am desperate to help him, he is my world, my everything. Please tell me how you used the frozen puree - did you mix it with anything? or let it thaw and eat it? and please tell me what brand of graviola supplement you used, and the dosage used. My boyfriend is quadriplegic, he was diagnosed with colon cancer in July 2013, we began using frozen guanabana puree from a local Mexican market, one month later we discovered that the graviola supplement in capsule form was the leaves of guanabana, and started using that immediately. He went for a PET scan in early December, upon returning to the surgeon that was planning on operating on him, he was shocked to find the PET scan showed no signs of cancer. My boyfriend means the world to me and even though he is 15 years older than me and may not live as long as I will I wound surely lay down my life for him. Words cannot express my emotions for this life saving fruit.

Kim Ryan this is how I drink the tea
Used to make a tea
This is the way to prepare the SOUR SOP leaves and bark
Use about half a pound of leaves and stems, about two branches. wash them thoroughly and place them in about a gallon of water, in a sturdy pot (preferably stainless steel).
After boiling about 20 minutes, turn off the heat and leave to cool and soak for about 8-12 hours or overnight, if prepared in the evening. Bottle in glass or plastic container(s) and refrigerate.
How to take tea
For two weeks, drink about half a pint three times a day preferably before meals, early morning, midday and before bedtime.
For the next two weeks, drink about half a pint two times a day morning and evening.
For about a month after, drink a half a pint once per day, preferably in the morning before eating.
The leaves and stems are either taken fresh from the tree or dried.

My mother has a tumor in her g of 10 centimeter, the Dr. that did the biopsy and oncologist and the heart doctor told me three to six months to live. Take her home and enjoy her some told me. So much they only gave her mild chemo to ease the pain. I changed oncologist after the light chemo and started giving her the sour sop tea during the light chemo. She is doing much better. Her tumor has reduced from 10 centimeters to 1 centimeter. The doctor was amazed at how fast it reduced. We are still here fighting one battle at a time. After the first chemo session the doctor gave her the stronger chemo. She has tolerated the chemo very well and is doing great. Thank GOD.
