I just had RnY Lap Gastric Bypass, My husband has high blood pressure and diabetes. So basically we look for recipes that watch sugar/fat/ and I need to get my protein.
I'm not worried about calories or sodium, but recipes out there almost always NEVER put the grams of sugar on their foot notes, which annoys me.
I can only have 8 grams of sugar in a setting, and 8 grams of fat (per portion).
I look forward sharing this site with my husband and friends who are diabetic.

I am a diebetic my husband just found out I know what to do but it is hard for him to understand what to eat.I will have to start doing his meals.He has always eatten what he wants and is a big snacker I am not.I need a bunch of sugar free cookies and stuff like that for him.He doesn't understand if it saws sugar free you can not eat all at once.HELP

Thanks for your efforts to help us avoid scams and unhealthy decisions. Information is easy to find, facts are not.
My own dietary needs changed last month when I confessed to both Fibromyalgia and Intestinal yeast overgrowth. Creating meals that works for both has been frustrating. No wheat, no sugar and no dairy are the most important limitations. From there we go to no vinegar, things fermented (soy, cheese), aged, grains, nuts or most fruits. I am hungry. Can you help?

Ed here from The IBS Recovery Center. Aside from your baked goods recipes, I think the rest sound delicious and even helpful for IBS.
One suggestion I would make that's very elementary. AQ breakfast (a main morning 'get-up-and -go) within 30 minutes from waking up. I daily eat a large bowl of oatmeal mixed with ground flax seeds and prune, apricots, and even coconut oil for pain.
This will really please thje tummy despite its boring image....but it works magic.
