Corona Virus is a common name which is now can be heard globally everywhere. It has created a pandemic situation worldwide. Until now, approximately 141.5 million peoples are affected by the Corona Virus. Among them, 80.4 million peoples have recovered, but it causes 3.01million people’s death worldwide.

Every day, affected people’s numbers are increasing massively. Different kinds of research have taken to stop Corona Virus. Many international organizations are trying to make the Corona Virus vaccine. Many organizations already made Corona Virus vaccines, implements among peoples, but until now, they are unable to raise hope.

What Is Corona Virus?

Corona Virus is a kind of common virus. It creates severe infections in your nose, throat, sinuses, and respiratory system. Formerly, it was called 2019-nCOV or SARS-COV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2) by the WHO (World Health Organization).

Corona derived from Latin word that means Crown. Later it was named COVID-19. CO stands for Corona, VI stands for Virus and D stands for Diseases. It was first found in the case of respiratory illness in Wuhan city, Hubei Province in China, and reported to WHO (World Health Organization) at the end of December 2019.

How Does Corona Virus Spread?

Corona Virus primarily goes out as a droplet with an infected person’s saliva or nose discharge by sneezing, coughing, laughing, talking, etc. Larger droplets usually fall within the seconds to the ground, but lighter droplets can linger in the air for a couple of hours.

If any person goes through the infected linger droplet, Corona Virus may go into the nose, throat, sinuses, and respiratory system by mouth, eye, or nose. Later it spreads among peoples by the infected people. It can be spread by the smoker, basically when they share their Cigarette piece, smoking pipe, or hoses by mouth. Corona Virus spreading ratio increases in a crowded place, especially where ventilation systems are poor.

Where Corona Virus Can Exist?

Ground: Lighter Corona Virus-infected droplets can linger in the air for a couple of hours. Heavy droplets fall into the ground and exist there.

Feces: Many researchers say that Corona Virus can present in the intestine and may present in feces.

Metal Surface: Corona Virus particles can even exist on the metal surface, cloth, or any other surface for a couple of hours.

Airborne: Present study claim that COVID-19 is an airborne pathogen that can exist in the air for a long time.

Sewerage or Pool Water: Though there is no evidence of Corona Virus survival in the sewerage or swimming pool water, but can spread by the peoples sneezing, or cough droplet.

Affected peoples mainly experienced symptoms within 2-14 days after exposed to COVID-19. There are different kinds of symptoms appear in the affected peoples. Among them the main symptoms are-

How to Diagnose Corona Virus?

Corona Virus does not show its symptoms even if someone is affected by it. Sometimes it delays to shows symptoms. This case is more serious. Visit or call your doctor immediately for diagnosis if you have symptoms include-

  • Cough
  • Fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher)
  • Breathing problem

A swab test is needed to diagnose Corona Virus. A swab enters in nose and throat to collect samples. Then these samples need some tests in the laboratory to determine the virus. It mainly takes 24 hours to give the result. There is some quick KIT test is also available which takes 5-10 minutes to give results. A positive result means infected and a negative result means is not infected by the virus.

What is the Incubation Period of COVID-19?

The incubation period of COVID-19 is on average 5 to 6 days, but it can be extended for 14 days. So, the home quarantine period is 14 days.

Primarily, it accumulates on the human throat and mildly infects. Then, it enters your respiratory system. Corona Virus enters into a human’s healthy cell. There it replicates it selves and spread throughout the body. Corona Virus latches its spiky protein surface to the receptors of healthy cells located on the human lung. Viral proteins try to enter into healthy cells. If they succeed, they take control of healthy cells.

Who is at Most Risk to Get Infected by Corona Virus?

Everyone can be infected by COVID-19. Older (60+ years) peoples are at most risk to be severely infected. Smokers who share their cigarette piece or hose by mouth are at the most risk. Someone having below health condition is at most risk-

It can infect vast people without any notice. Corona Virus mainly causes mild illness depending on the body's immunity system. If the body's immune system is poor, it can cause serious illness or even death.

How to prevent COVID-19?

Before infected:

  • Take vaccine
  • Wash hand with soap and water
  • Clean hand with alcohol-containing hand sanitizer
  • Maintain at least 6 to 8 feet distance from others
  • Use masks, hand gloves, safety goggles, special aprons, etc.
  • Avoid touching mouth, eye, nose
  • Wash everything before eat
  • Stay away from the crowd
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Stop smoke sharing and smoking
  • Take proper medicine for general illness
  • Develop body immunity
  • Body exercise
  • Stay home
  • Maintain quarantine

Suspicious to be infected:

  • Immediate go isolation
  • Call doctor
  • Take symptomatic medications
  • Use full sorts of PPEs
  • Do Corona Virus test
  • Ensure not to be infected

After Infected:

  • Go separate from others
  • Take the symptomatic medication according to the doctor advice
  • Admit clinic or hospital
  • Manage ventilator during a severe situation
  • Take immunity developing food and food supplements
