Hi Anntb...Thank you for dropping in your comment.I am glad to know you enjoyed the reading.

It is also cool to learn that you are doing your dissertation about 'Sound and color'. I am afraid i haven't read much about whether people see color while listening to sounds. But perhaps after you have mentioned, i will like to observe and learn about their interrelation .

All the best to you for your research !!!

Anntb on July 26, 2012:

Awesome! I really enjoyed reading this hub.

I am doing my dissertation about 'Sound and colour' and I researching about color emotions. I have found many articles which relate frecuencies music tones with colours but nothing with other kind of sound and noises. I think the reason is because only few people see colours when they are listening sounds, more with music (especially with synesthesia).

Have you read something about it?

Saadia A (author) on June 24, 2012:

Hi jonribu...It often happens that you tend to select the same color over and over again...Red is indeed a nice color giving out a vibrant, energized feeling . The greens and blues are cool shades as well. My personal favorite has mostly been blue and in the past year i was going for so many red and red related shades. So color choice varies from one to other at times.

I appreciate your leaving your comment on the Hub.Thank you so much for dropping in :)

Hi novicemuse....yeah colors do have a strong impact and haha it is really "interesting" to imagine boys locker room as pink ...:) Learning about colors is indeed a fun thing to do.

Thank you for coming by and taking your time out to leave your feedback.I appreciate :)

novicemuse on January 08, 2012:

Neat hub. I remember doing a science fair project on colors because my friends and I thought it was easy and we were lazy and the only thing I remember from it was that we figured out why other school painted even boys away locker rooms pink — to make them tired since its so tranquilizing! But anyway, it was very interesting and I learned much more from this than a month of surveying people!

Thank you once again for your very positive feedback.I appreciate your generosity much :)

Mike Pugh from New York City on January 07, 2012:

I returned to complete the reading of your awesome hub here, wow is all I can say, and I've seen the meaning of colors before in books about the subject, but not displayed on the web or on hubpages for that matter.

Awesome in depth meanings for each and every color you've displayed and I know your presence on hubpages will be a powerful one indeed, if its not already being felt by others worldwide as well.

This article will remain in my bookmarks, some day I'll have the need of decorating my home, so it will definitely be put to good use.

Its truly useful indeed in every way, for it helps people to discover the many hidden meanings of colors and puts in worded form that is simple to understand.

Since I've voted it up already I will also share it outside of hubpages, lets hope others can find use of such a hub as well.

Saadia A (author) on January 07, 2012:

Hi Sue B. Thank you very much for the appreciation. It is true that the impact which colors leave on our general moods and thoughts is so varied and vast that it is hard to mention each and every one of the feelings in one single Hub. Overall i really liked the idea of studying how each color leaves a very distinctive effect on our thoughts and how our personalities react to it.The color psychology is indeed an interesting subject!!

Sue B. on January 02, 2012:

I liked your hub! I have written about the meaning of colors in dreams before and the psychology of colors, of course, is similar. I find it fascinating how much color impacts our emotions and how often colors are associated with similar emotions in people. I like that you added some of the opposite meanings for people for each color.

Saadia A (author) on January 02, 2012:
