What is Covid 19 Vaccine?

It is an inactivated or dead particles of
virus that are injected into body. In
response to that injected inactivated virus
body activates immune system by
producing antibodies.

How much vaccine is efficient?

When a vaccine is made it takes couple of
years to develop safe and efficient .On this
Covid 19 vaccine not much research has
been done due to everyday spreading of
Covid virus in the whole world. But Trails of
this vaccine on many people states that It is
90-95 percent safe to people.No vaccine is 100 percent effective.

Dose regimen

Vaccine is given in 2 doses.
(i)1st dose is given at the time of
(ii)2nd dose is given 3-4 weeks after 1st dose of vaccine.
These two doses are completed within 28

Antibodies levels are checked 14 days after giving the vaccine.

Who will be vaccinated first?

Due to spreading virus, Vaccine would
be given firstly to.
1-Front line worker.
2-Healthcare workers.
3-Elderly people with low immunity.
4-People with other diseases like,Diabetes,Hypertension,Kidney Disease.Cancer.

Does everybody need to get vaccinated?

Vaccination breaks the chain of disease
transmission. If 60-70 percent population
gets vaccinated; chances of spread of
infection reduces.If herd immunity develops then Patients who can’t be vaccinated like allergic patients will be protected from

Will Covid 19 vaccine give lifelong immunity?

This Covid virus is changing its strains. So
Covid vaccine would not give lifelong
immunity. Some studies suggest that
antibodies against Covid last for 9 months.
It is estimated that Vaccine may work up to
9-12 months.
