Cholesterol HDL and LDL what is the meaning of cholesterol HDL and LDL

From a health point of view, nutrition is kind of neglected, so I choose to prioritise it.

Cholesterol: HDL and LDL
Frankly speaking, everyone seems to understand the importance of low cholesterol levels. But nutritionally, not all cholesterol is bad cholesterol. Who would even think that there's good cholesterol.

With all the daily worries planet Earth has to think about that's to say economies, daily expenses, wars and even sports especially in this Covid-19 error I suggest that governments should invest in awareness of populations about their health and sensitization about good and bad cholesterol and it's indications could enable an eco-friendly population and reduce budget expenses invested to treat heart related diseases like Hypertension, Angina, Myocardial infarction(heart attack), as well as reduce aggravating initially chronic diseases like Diabetes mellitus.

There are two main types of cholesterol; high-density lipoproteins(HDL) and low-density lipoproteins(LDL).
These complex chemical compounds are made up of nutrients like fats and proteins.
So cholesterol, which is needed by the body for various functions, one of which is in the making of cell membranes all over the body, is transported around the body by either of these two types of lipoproteins.
HDL transports cholesterol to the liver to be expelled from the body which all of us would agree is chemically extremely beneficial to our health, because after all too much of anything is bad.
LDL takes cholesterol to arteries and with other substances, it forms a thick hard deposit on the inside of these blood vessels. This can narrow the blood vessels and make them less flexible, a condition known as atherosclerosis.

Known laboratory standard values suggest that at least HDL levels of 55mg/dL for females and 45mg/dL for males considered nutritionally safe
On the other hand LDL levels should not exceed 130mg/dL but one can as well say that anything lower that is lower or slightly greater can be optimal.
How can one now access these good high-density lipoproteins?
There are plenty of sources of HDL including, olive oil, fish fat, whole grain, nuts, avocado, soy, flax and even red wine.

From a medical point of view, when cholesterol levels raise high beyond the required, heart related disorders start to manifest. Depending on the level of complications, a variety of non invasive strategies can be employed to reduce morbidity of the illness.
From first principles, lifestyle changes will always be prioritised in controlling high cholesterol levels. Most of which could include making healthy eating choices, exercising regularly, quiting smoking and limiting alcohol intake.

Though to another level anticholesterol drugs can reinforce the lifestyle changes, a few of which have been listed below,
Bile acid sequestrants
Niacin or nicotinic acid
Fibrates etc…

So whatever the situation, whatever the hustle, know your life better, so as to improve your productivity in life. Invest in your health.
