COVID 19 deaths


Two more COVID 19 deaths recorded in T&T

Two more COVID 19 patients have died in Trinidad and Tobago.
According to Health Ministry’s update October 3rd, 2020 one person was an elderly male and the other was an elderly female, both with pre-existing conditions.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 78.

The Health Ministry says 80 additional persons have tested positive for the virus taking the case count to 4,709.

These new 80 new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the CMOHs.
It notes that 7 persons have been discharged from public health facilities bringing the total to 1086.

The Ministry says 66 additional persons from the community have recovered.

Recovered community cases refer to persons who were previously COVID-19 positive and in self-isolation at home and subsequently met the discharge criteria and were released from self-isolation.
