Quarantine has been a knock-down or a drag-out fight for everyone. Even the greatest minds couldn't slow down a ticking clock but quarantine did, leaving us with a lot of leisure time. To pass the hours we started spending more time on Youtube and with Youtube came home workouts. The passion to stay healthy hit everyone like a storm. With a number of fitness YouTubers hurdling with each other to come up with the best workout routines, I personally tried the internet sensations Chloe Ting and Pamela Reif. Who is better? Let's find out

Chloe Ting is an Australian fitness YouTuber who rose to fame through her 2 WEEKS SHRED CHALLENGE during the quarantine.

Positive Aspects :

1. Chloe Ting is great at explaining things and she guides you through the entire workout routine which makes you perform your workout properly.


2. If you have tried her workouts then you must be aware of the fact that her workouts are not speedy which gives you more time to build a better mind-muscle connection which eventually leads to good results.

3. As previously mentioned Chloe does a great job at guiding you through your workout which makes her videos more interactive and she is always building that bond with the viewer by motivating you to keep going and finishing the video.

4. Chloe also has a website where you can find her entire workouts with a proper schedule for free and she also provides you some good diet plans.

Difficulty level :

1. If you are a beginner and just starting up with working out then Chloe's routines are probably the best.

2. However, you may find her workouts a little slow or easy for you if you are at an intermediate or advanced level.

Enjoyability :

1. Chloe's workouts overall are pretty enjoyable. You may find them hard if you are a beginner but they are worth it at the end of the day.

2. If you are at an intermediate or advanced level then you can just enjoy her workouts when you are not planned for a hardcore workout.

Safety level :

1.Ting's workouts have plenty of breaks and are well guided which counterbalances almost every chance of injury.

2. If you are suffering from any medical condition then make sure to do good research, take extra precautions, and contact your doctor before starting the workouts.

Negative Aspects :

1. With so many positives in her pocket Chloe does has some negative aspects as well and one of them is slow music. Good music is proven to improve your workout by putting you in a good mood and increasing your stamina but Chloe's videos have slow music which is not what everyone likes and it can make you bored or less energetic sometimes.

2. Chloe has fetched the highest number of views on her workout videos but if you check out her programs then you will realize that the exercises are repetitive and her challenges released both recently and a year ago don't have much of a difference.

3. As previously mentioned her workouts might come easy for people who are at an intermediate or advanced level.

4. Chloe does talk a lot and not a lot of people are a fan of it. So you have to wait for a little extra time before you start exercising.

Pamela Reif is a German model who is also a fitness Youtuber with also being a food blogger.

Positive Aspects :

1. Pamela Reif's workouts are faster and perfect for an intermediate or advanced.

2. Reif's videos are just workouts, they start with a timer and end with one so there is no talking which is what a lot of people look for.

3. The music in Pamela's workout videos is just on point. It brings out the beast inside of you by increasing your stamina and puts you in a great mood.

4. Pamela offers a variety of different workouts and her exercises are not repetitive.

Difficulty level :

1. If you are a beginner and you are starting with Pamela's workout then they are going to be extremely difficult for you. I would advise you to begin with Chloe and then switch to Pamela.

2. However, if you are an intermediate or advanced then you are going to love her workouts because they are high intensity and bring out the best in you.

Enjoyability :

1. Reif has great music in her videos which makes her videos very enjoyable.

2. If you are someone who loves difficult workouts then Pamela Reif is whom you need.

Safety Levels :

1. Pamela shows no mercy and gives you only one or sometimes even no breaks making her workouts a little less safe.

2. If you are a beginner then you may end up getting injured if you don't take precautions and not perform the exercises properly.

Negative Aspects :

1. Pamela serves some of the best workouts however she doesn't really guide you through her workouts so you might end up performing an exercise the wrong way sometimes.

2. Previously mentioned many times, Pamela is really fast and it is really difficult to keep up with her.

3. If you are a beginner then her workouts are not really for you. You need to be at an intermediate or advanced level to follow her videos.

Who is better?

Deciding who is better is really up to you. Both the ladies work really hard and are equally passionate about their job. They have really amazing workouts and as an icing on the cake, their content is totally free. It won't be fair to pick one because both have completely different styles.

My Opinion

Let's focus on my professional advice as a physiotherapist, I would advise that if you are someone who has never ever tried any workout and has been a couch potato all of your life then start with "Chloe Ting" and as you progress with the training and when you start feeling that her workouts are becoming slow and less challenging then you can proceed to "Pamela Reif" workouts.

Remember everyone has a different body. What works for someone may not work for you. It takes time to figure it out. Make sure to take precautions while working out and have a good diet. A good diet is essential no matter what your goal is. Just do not give up, it will be worth it.

After trying both Chloe and Pamela's workouts now, I personally prefer some routines of Chloe and some of Pamela. I made myself a mixed workout routine including both of their videos and the results have been pretty fascinating.

So, keep working out and do not give up. Also, do not pre-assume results because you may not have the same results as other people at the end because as mentioned everyone has a different body.

Both Pamela and Chloe in my opinion are good at their own place. However, please let me know who do you prefer more and feel free to comment if you have any sort of queries related to anything.
