Well, before you resort to putting layers of concealer to hide those small pointy shiners why not try out these DIY pimple treatment.

Tomatoes are not only juicy and tasty but are good for your skin. Tomatoes can also help you get rid of acne. They are rich in vitamin A, C, K, and acidic qualities aid in the reduction and clearing of pimples on the face. To see the benefits, simply apply the pulp to your face and wash it off after 10 minutes.

For overnight results try this!

Method and directions

  1. Squeeze tomato juice in a bowl over a cloth strainer.
  2. Apply tomato juice on the affected area and sleep over night.

Note: face should be washed before application.

  1. Wash your face in the morning.


For pimple-prone skin, a touch of honey can work wonders. Its antimicrobial characteristics can help heal wounds and minimize inflammation.

3.Crushed aspirin

4.Ice cubes

Ice cubes will not get rid of pimples however,using ice to dab on the pimple can help to minimize swelling and redness.

Method and directions

Wrap an ice cube in a washcloth that has been soaked in cold water.

Dab the ice cube onto the pimple with it. Hold the wrapped ice on the location for a few seconds, then remove it for a few seconds before applying it again. Repeat this process to constrict pores and improve blood circulation in the area.


Coffee may be an effective acne-fighting face exfoliator due to its antioxidants, stimulants, and chlorogenic acids.

Acne develops when oil, dead skin cells, and other substances clog pores, allowing bacteria to infect them and cause inflammation.

Coffee grinds can be used to scrub the face to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.Coffee's chlorogenic acids may also help to decrease inflammation and defend against certain bacteria types.

Method and directions

In a mixing bowl, combine the coffee powder, honey, and yogurt. After cleansing your face, apply the face mask. Set the timer for 20 minutes. Massage your face gently for 2-3 minutes before rinsing it off with plain water.
