Most people have a poor diet and are sedentary during their leisure time, leading to an accumulation of toxins in the body that contribute to fat formation.

In fact, studies show that a mindset shift is one of the most important things that will help you lose weight and keep it off.
Poor Eating Habits
I was once a big-time binge eater. I would go out for days on end with little to no exercise and very rarely eat healthy foods. I would drink gallons upon gallons of diet soda, eat enormous amounts of junk food, and get anxious and irritable whenever I experienced boredom. It wasn't until I changed my mindset that I began to lose the weight I was carrying around.
Watch Your Food
I made a vow to myself that once I achieved the weight loss goal I set for myself, I would commit to a diet of healthy foods. I started by eliminating all foods from my diet that had high levels of salt, sugar, or calories. This included cakes, cookies, candy bars, and any other processed, fatty, fattening foods.
Simple Exercises Do Really Help
Next I made sure that I did not work out for an extended period of time during the week. I didn't have to; in fact, I rarely worked out at all. When I didn't have to work out, I felt much more relaxed and was able to focus on getting my metabolism going and burning fat in my belly. When I did exercise I did so gradually starting with just some simple exercises such as squats and push ups.
Once I achieved my goal, it was then that I decided to add some exercises that would help me burn even more fat and build muscle. I started doing crunches and sit ups and was amazed at how quickly my metabolism began to increase. I still had a long way to go but this kept me motivated and consistent with my diet and exercise program.
Maintain Your Mind with Meditation
The final piece to my how to burn stubborn belly fat puzzle was learning how to meditate properly. This became one of my favorite things to do. Sitting in a comfortable chair and closing my eyes allowed me to see my body in a physical way that allowed me to make positive changes.
I started to see why I was gaining weight in my stomach and how I could do something about it. Once I realized this technique really worked, I added it to my daily routine and the results were even better than I had thought.
Make It Your Daily Habits
Now that I had learned the true secrets to losing belly fat and gaining lean muscle, I continued the same routine everyday. I was able to lose another twenty pounds in my first month. I am now a proud owner of a 6 pack and my health has greatly improved. If you want to look like I used to look when I was a skinny little guy, learn from my mistakes, and continue to work hard! !
