In today's world , we have normalised being stressed out. All of us lead imbalanced lifestyles. This is the reason we face so many new health problems. People often say that they're too busy to renew themselves. That's like saying you're so busy driving that you don't have time to fill gas. Your car will eventually stop one day if you continue this way.

There are 4 dimensions where you have to renew yourself. These are like the four wheels of a car. Even if one of them is not taken care of, there is a huge imbalance. These are
- Body ( Physical dimension)
- Mind ( Mental dimension)
- Heart ( Emotional dimension)
- Soul (Spiritual dimension)
We cannot enjoy life if we are not physically fit. You might be earning crores of rupees. But if you don't have the health to enjoy it, there is no point. So keeping yourself healthy and physically fit is of great importance. There are 3 ways in which you can do this.
This is a very simple yet difficult habit. We are tempted to eat sugary and fatty foods. Even though we know that they are bad for our system, we still continue to consume them. It is not possible to give up junk food all at once. But slowly start reducing your intake of unhealthy foods. Bring it down to once a week and then slowly to once a month. The same goes for the intake of alcohol and drugs. They have devastating effects on your body so limit them as much as possible.
There are so many different forms of exercise that you can undertake. Personally I would recommend playing a sport. This makes it interesting since it adds an element of competition. You can also try going for a run or doing some yoga. Regardless, it is important to get a daily dose of vigorous exercise. This is a habit we need to build as teenagers. It will definitely pay off huge dividends in the long run.
Nowadays, people take pride in their ability to sleep less. But sleep deprivation is a silent killer. It affects your physical and mental well-being immensely. There is no such thing as not having enough time. It only shows that you haven't prioritized your time well. There is no need to study all night for an exam if you had planned your schedule better. So make sleep a priority.
We have established the importance of physical exercise. At the same time, it is important to exercise your brain as well. Hit the brain gym often. Your brain works just like your muscles. The more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes. But it is also important to avoid overworking it. Here are some of the ways to improve your mental dimension.
It is not necessary that you should read informative books. Reading fiction also has a lot of benefits. Reading requires you to focus your attention. It improves your ability to concentrate. You also form mental images while reading a book. This improves your imagination and creativity. It is also said that a single book can save 5 years of your life. Authors pen down lifetime experiences through their books. This helps you understand their mistakes and you can avoid making the same. So regardless of genre, just pick up a book and start reading. You will definitely thank yourself later.
Have stimulating conversations
Observe the conversations you have with people. Most of them are just useless gossip. Information that adds no value to anybody's life. It is important to have fun conversations for relaxation. But at the same time, you should also have engaging talks. Conversations that make you think and wonder. The trick is to surround yourself with the right people. The quality of your conversation will only be as good as the people you're speaking to.
Start a business
This is one of the best ways to develop your brain. Starting a business forces you to think outside the box. It forces you to solve problems that you never foresaw, It helps you tap into a higher potential within yourself that you never knew existed.
Limit your screen time
An average american spends 20 hours a week watching television. Imagine what you could do with that time. Screen time kills your mental growth. It also affects the quality of your sleep. So limit it as much as possible.
The nerd syndrome
This is one of the main reasons teenagers avoid reading books. They feel they will not be socially accepted. They are scared that they will be labelled a nerd.People hate intelligent people because they make others look stupid. So instead of trying to improve themselves, they put the good ones down. Don't fall prey to this. Take pride in your mental abilities. Don't worry if it makes the people around you insecure. Avoid such people because they will only hold you back from success.
