5 Essential Health and Fitness Youtube Channels to Follow Now

Bogdan is a football, fitness and nutrition enthusiast in love with the process of becoming the strongest version of himself.

Your Health and Fitness Guide

Health optimization is the ultimate goal you need to strive for in order to have a happy, meaningful and fulfilled life. Fortunately, the number of people that realize this and start making lifestyle changes is increasing slowly but steady.

Fitness is an extremely efficient tool you can use to improve health and maintain it at its peak. Even if the channels I will be presenting focus more on strength training, "fitness" could also mean any structured and organized physical activity like starting from extreme sports to yoga and even simply walking.

But first, you have to make sure of something.

You have to make sure that you possess the right knowledge and information that support you afterward in taking action and reaching your goals.

How do you do that?

Simply by learning from people that have on their side a lot of experience, results, and people that live what they speak.

So, the five essential health and fitness Youtube channels you have to follow straightaway are the following...

YO ELLIOTT - STRENGTH CAMP

Elliott Hulse

Elliott Hulse

Elliott Hulse is a former professional strongman, world-renown strength&conditioning coach, holistic coach, mentor and the owner of two Youtube channels that gathered over 2.5 million subscribers.

Elliott is a monument of hard-work, determination, perseverance, and an extremely dedicated person to bringing as much value as he can to the world. His main principle in life is Becoming the Strongest Version of Yourself and Inspiring Others.

With this dedication and enthusiastic being, he successfully helped millions of people become a stronger version of themselves using his insightful life experiences and his impressive communication skills, by giving away for free practical and reliable advice to questions related to improving health and fitness, mainly strength training, his favorite physical activity.

What is truly remarkable about him, is the willingness to learn from every experience possible, especially failure, the way he speaks about his flaws, his uncommon lifestyle and way of living, and the humbleness and devotion he has when giving advice to those in need.

Having extraordinary athletic capabilities since he was 5 years old and being regarded as the strongest kid in school, he also has a good background in American football, being the captain of St.John's University and earning an MVP.

After being introduced to weight training by his uncle, he became a Personal Trainer and started studying Paul Chek's material thoroughly and intensely.

With all the knowledge accumulated, Elliott moved to St. Petersburg, Florida and begun working as a Personal Trainer in a local gym, but he soon found himself daring to open his own gym called Strength Camp and at the same time starting competing in strongman, becoming one of the strongest man in his category worldwide. Unfortunately, a biceps tendon tear ended his career, so Elliott continued helping and inspiring people on their journey of becoming the strongest version of themselves.

Paul Chek

One of the biggest mentors of Elliott Hulse when it comes to living a holistic lifestyle and teaching others, Paul Chek is a world-renown expert in the fields of corrective and high-performance exercise kinesiology, stress management and holistic wellness.

The depth of the topics he engages in is more than impressive, especially with his powerful and compelling way of speaking to the audiences. He always generates thought-provoking ideas but at the same time, he seems to provide easy to follow steps in order to get results.

As a consultant, an inventor, an educator and an author with over 30 years of experience in his domain, Paul changed the life of thousands of people, including professional athletes.

At the same time, he has received numerous speaking awards, even a Lifetime Achievement award by SWIS, The Society of Weight-Training Specialists.

In 1995, he founded the CHEK (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Institute, which has over 5,600 Trained Professionals from 27 countries that inspired over 500,000 clients over time.

Mind Pump TV

Mind Pump TV is presented exclusively by Mind Pump Media, an online radio show and podcast.

Sal Di Stefano, Adam Schafer, and Justin Andrews, the hosts of this channel, have over 40 years of experience when it comes to fitness, personal training, club managing, and IFBB competitions.

What I absolutely love about them is the fun and outgoing way of speaking but at the same time bringing a lot of integrity and honesty. They really make it seem like you learn while playing.

The journey started when Doug Egge (Mind Pump producer) hired Sal as his personal trainer after numerous failed attempts to reach his ideal body. Doug started seeing results consistently even if Sal's approach wasn't like the ones he was used with.

Together they created the first MAPS program with the purpose of shattering the ineffective muscle building workout ideas Sal has witnessed until then.

They met Adam and Justin two years later and decided to start Mind Pump.

"The goal with Mind Pump was simple...bring quality fitness and health information to the masses with integrity and honesty."

Daniel Vadnal, Fitness FAQs

Daniel Vadnal, Fitness FAQs

Daniel Vadnal was an early passionate gamer, playing first-person shooter games 6 to 8 hours a day and besides a keen interest in Australian Football, his physical activity level was close to zero.

Everything changed when he discovered videos of parkour and freerunning athletes on Youtube, being completely amazed by the way those athletes controlled their body.

He attended a few classes held by the Australian Parkour Association and found himself practicing parkour 3-4 times a week. During this time he also met a lot of people involved in physical self-improvement. Daniel started to like the bodyweight conditioning circuits they were doing in order to strengthen the body and prevent injury and as a result, he found himself more attracted by this aspect of physical training.

Due to other Youtube videos, Daniel discovered some old-school calisthenics athletes like Hannibal for King, Lord Vital, and the Bar-Barians group and he decided to start training in local parks or at home.

In 2010, Daniel Vadnal launched the FitnessFAQs Youtube channel with one mission:

"To develop a systematic approach to bodyweight fitness through education and empowerment."

His hunger for learning and giving the best advice possible earned him 80 hours S&C Internship at ESS Performance, a Bachelor of Exercise Science (ACU Melbourne) degree, and a Master of Physiotherapy (USYD) degree.

Today, Daniel is an international fitness influencer with an average of 1 million people watching his videos every month, all of this while he travels the world hosting workshops and creating several training programs like Bodyweight Evolution, Body by Rings or Limitless Legs.
