Keep Your Resolutions
Many people don't even keep their new year's resolutions through the entire month of January. Don't let your dreams and goals get swept under the rug as the new year goes by. Instead, try these simple ways to keep your resolutions this year.
1. Write down your resolutions.
Writing out your resolutions or goals and posting them where you can see them everyday will help you to remember them. They will also help to motivate you when it becomes difficult for you to keep them.
2. Break your goals into smaller goals.
Think about how you can achieve your goals. Then create mini goals that you can work towards each month, each week, or each day. Write them on your calendar or planner as a reminder.
3. Use the buddy system.
Find a friend or family member who has similar goals. Work together to achieve and check in often, so you can motivate and inspire each other.
4. Reward yourself.
Reward yourself if you have successfully completed some of your mini goals. This will give you some satisfaction and help motivate you to complete your resolutions.
5. Don't give up.
Don't give up if you have a relapse or quit working on your goals for awhile. It's okay to fail as long as you try again!
