Coffee is Beneficial
Many drink coffee in the morning to help them wake up or for its rich, bold taste. Some may think that it could be detrimental to drink it daily, but research has found that it could actually be beneficial. Find out why drinking coffee daily could improve your health and overall well-being.
Rich in Antioxidants
Coffee is full of antioxidants. These help fight diseases, lower high blood pressure, and may help prevent cancer. This is one main reason why drinking coffee daily will help keep you healthy.
Caffeine boosts activity in the areas of the brain responsible for concentration and memory. This may improve most drinkers' memory and attention span for a short period of time.
May Help Prevent Alzheimer's Disease
Not only does coffee improve one's short term memory, it may also improve long term memory. An important Finnish study found that consuming 3 to 5 cups of coffee daily during midlife may reduce the risk of Alzheimer's and dementia in later years.
Coffee is Good for Your Liver
Studies show that coffee consumption is linked to good liver health. Scientists found that participants who drank coffee daily had less abnormal liver enzyme levels.
Coffee is an Antidepressant
The caffeine in coffee increases levels of serotonin and dopamine which helps regulate one's mood. It can also help boost energy and metabolism by stimulating the central nervous system. This can leave coffee drinkers with an overall feeling of happiness and healthiness.
