Where to Catch All The Monsters in FFX
Below is my free Final Fantasy X Monster Arena Checklist (here's a printable version). Use the checklist to track which fiends you've caught and what it takes to unlock various bosses and prizes.
If you're at home, just print out the list. Or copy and paste the list below to a text App, then enter a + sign next to the name of each fiend you capture).
If you need help defeating individual Monster Arena bosses, scroll down this page and click the links next to each monster's name for battle strategy and stats. I'll continue to update the links to point to the strategies I've found helpful in beating each boss.
This page is one of my Final Fantasy X Secrets Series.

Nice read - I remember playing FFX a while back. Brings back the memories this lens :)
dmhonz on April 14, 2014:
This game is great and has a good effect and story.
Matt_Lowe on April 23, 2013:
Very cool! I just started playing FFX, so I ran across this lens just at the right time.
anonymous on February 22, 2013:
I'm really surprised that in that poll, I was one of the few who really liked Neslug. He's the only beast in the whole game that doesn't resemble another, and he's challenging as hell to kill!
Anyhow, great page. I've been flipping through all the FFX pages on here and you guys have done an ace job!

Love Final Fantasy lenses even made one myself! great lens mate!
DiabolicalClaptrap on May 06, 2012:
Excellent guide! I'm playing through this game for the first time in years and this guide has helped me immensely through Auron's sidequest. It's a shame though, because you have to travel all the way to the calm lands to view your progress, rather than check the main menu. But whatever. Anything to make Final Fantasy more tedious I guess.
Amagai-Shuusuke on August 02, 2011:
Very well done and very helpful, thanks :)
TheSquidooGamer on July 28, 2011:
Ahh, the Monster Arena bosses are the hardest things I've ever battle. Send one of them to Sin and the game will be over. If I hadn't broken my Ps2 I could have "Caught them all". haha
kathysart on April 11, 2011:
Wow, UR really into Final Fantasy.. lots of info! Congrats on a well thought out lens.. yay!
george185 lm on February 13, 2011:
These monsters were so insanely hard. It was a nice touch for a Final Fantasy game.

@LisaMarieGabriel: Oh, wow. I don't expect many angels to get out here into the boonies of Final Fantasy Madness. Thank you!
Someday, I will get this account to Giant 50 so that I can release the 9-outbound-links limit and UPDATE THIS LENS ARGH. (I hate applying for a hand-review every time I update).
Lisa Marie Gabriel from United Kingdom on September 10, 2010:
I don't play many games, but this lens is well presented and looks very useful to those who do! This older woman singer is sprinkling some angeldust on an older woman gamer. :D
LouieWpHs04 on October 23, 2008:
Looking for original enough lenses for my Square Enix group, join if ya' like. =)
anonymous on July 11, 2008:
Oh this really helped. Now I can have a real challenge to train my characters.
Underdog LM on June 24, 2008:
Nice lens this game is one of my top ten psp games.

Thank you so much for the list.. Ive tried making one of my own but i always lose it somewhere and it was always hand written in a Comp. Notebook.
This will definitely come in handy.
