The Good Guys of Space
In 1989, Lego declares Blacktron the enemy and releases the Space Police to defend against them. This would begin the good guy / bad guy trend that continues to this day. The Space Police were charged with maintaining order in the galaxy, protecting the civilian Lego population Futuron against the greedy lot of the Blacktron.
The original Space Police have since become one of the most collectable series in all of Lego Space. Due to its popularity, two sequel sets have been released under the Space Police name in the 90s and 2000s.
All Lego sets can fit into one of two categories. This key will define the condition of the sets included in this hub.
Unopened Condition: Any set that is still in its factory sealed box

I had the 6986 Mission Commander as a kid.
Thanks for the memories.

Fun Hub! I love vintage Lego minifigs. I have a few Lego space guys, but they're earlier, like 1978-ish. It's great how the space theme has grown from those early sets.
