The Dark Ages

What a perfect way to spend hours of play time than fighting dragons, conquering castles and rescuing damsels in distress. Lego 'Castle' is one of the most popular themes in the Lego Universe behind Lego Space. The sets are long running and highly sought after by those who played with these sets a kid.

Crusaders, while officially discontinued since 1994, still has an occasional set released under it's name. The most recent being in 2001. This series was considered the good guys, yet no leadership within the series was established. We assume the knights swore allegiance to a king or a noble. This series' most famous minifig was the damsel, who's lower half was made from a Lego prism piece instead of legs.
