A Stealth Based Role Playing Game Like Mass Effect

Alpha Protocol is the final game on our list of games like Mass Effect. While the game is very similar to Mass Effect it was let down by what feels like half-finished game elements. If you really want to relive a Mass Effect experience though you'll be able to easily look past them.

In Alpha Protocol you play as Agent Michael Thorton, a new member of the secret organisation in charge of covert missions. After the initial introductory sequences the player is given three different locations they must visit in order to execute their mission. Why isn't starwars knights of the old republic on this list

These didn't justify what Mass Effect are. It was its own Genre of RPG and create-your-own-story game. Nothing in this list are like Mass Effect which sadly is very appealing to many player. Let's hope all RPG creator learn from Mass Effect (as in Gameplay not storyline because that ending is still sucks).

You basically grabbed the most well known rpg's and slapped them on this page saying they were like Mass Effect. Well done you're officially wasting peoples time

Mahany on November 25, 2015:

What about KOTOR 1 and 2 ? They are very similar even if they have a more linear story.

Ryuusuke Warframe Founder on June 30, 2015:

In response to Sickey88's comment, Mass Effect is nothing like warframe, and warframe is nothing like mass effect. Warframe is more of a dungeon crawler turned into a shooter. it has no cover based system, it has parkour. the weapons cant be modified as well as the weapons can on ME3. Oh and one more thing. ME3's single player campaign is an OWE(Open World Environment) with loading areas here and there. To sum this all up, Warframe doesnt hold a candle to ME. Also i am a founder of warframe, i was one of the first 30 people to ever play it publicly ( closed alpha) so i do love warframe. but it cant touch the ME universe.

That's a shrewd answer to a tricky qusiteon

Sickey88 on January 22, 2015:

well I must disagree with list, just because some game has RPG elements , it doesn't mean its like Mass Effect (ie Witcher or KoA or Red Dead Redemption)... list is awful. but there is one (online game unfortunately) which looks like a clone comparing to Mass Effect (Ambience and Combat vise), its called Warframe, and it should be on this list , at least instead of the witcher.
