Games Like Angry Birds - (Free, Online, PC, Download and iPhone)
Have you finished Angry Birds? Looking to play another casual, fun and free game like Angry Birds? There are plenty of addicting physics based games out there that are available for a range of platforms (free, PC, online, download and iPhone). While most of these games are straight up Angry Birds clones there are a few options that add their own little bit of spice to the Angry Birds formula to make for some exciting and interesting gameplay.
Angry Birds is one of the most popular physics based puzzle games around. Originally available for iOS devices but now available across multiple platforms (with plenty of merchandise to match) the game has been installed on millions of devices worldwide and become a well known franchise.
Angry Birds was one of the original viral mobile games combining simple controls and physics. In the game players will launch a variety of birds using a slingshot that each have their own unique traits at a structure containing several pigs. In order to advance to the next level players will have to clear all the pigs by either hitting them directly with a bird or using physics to bring down the structure onto them. As the levels progress more pigs, different bird types and various obstructions are introduced.
The games like Angry Birds that you'll find on this page focus on free options and is split PC games (available to play online or downloadable) and mobile games (iOS and Android).

Where Can I Play Angry Birds? - Official Places To Play Angry Birds
If you are yet to play the popular game of Angry Birds or are just looking for other places to get your Angry Bird fix there are a several options available. With so many spin-off versions of the original game now available I strongly recommend that Angry Birds fans look at the official website which shows all the Angry Birds games with their available platforms included.
1 - Angry Animals
A Free Game Like Angry Birds But With Animals
Angry Animals is one of the most popular free and online games like Angry Birds. Angry Animals is essentially the same game except that the birds have been replaced with an array of different animals. It is a great option if you want a quick online fix of puzzle action.
It's been distributed to a wide range of online gaming websites (such as Silvergames which is the featured link below) which does ensure you can play on your favourite online games portal.
Angry Animals features 27 playable levels with the level difficulty ramping up pretty quickly, making it a great challenge for even veteran Angry Bird players. While the level number can't compete with the original Angry Birds this game does not mess around with its difficultly making it worthy of inclusion on this list.

2 - Siege Hero
A Viking Style Angry Birds (Also Available On iPhone)
Siege Hero uses very similar physics to Angry Birds but changes the game to a unique first person perspective. This allows Siege Hero to do much more interesting things with physics and level design that isn't available to Angry Birds.
Every level players will be presented with a structure containing several Vikings, villagers and even some treasure. Your goal in Siege Hero is to carefully take care of the Vikings without harming any of the villagers which can be really tricky and often requires careful and calculate shots that make use of the games physics engine.
These shots involve players launching a variety of rocks at the structures in each level which can vary from simple rocks that will damage a structure to explosive rocks that will cause a small explosion in the vicinity of impact.
The game is available online for free with 35 levels while the full game is available for iOS and Android with 150+ levels for more gameplay (which also includes different themes such as pirate levels).

3 - Pudding Strike
A Physics Game Like Angry Birds With Plenty Of Levels
Did you ever think that Angry Birds would be better if it involved puddings, jelly and sugary structures? Well now you can play a tasty physics game that involves all your sweet favourites.
Pudding Strike is the sort of game that you can easily play in short bursts or commit a whole afternoon thanks to the 100s of unique levels that constantly require you to master a new strategy or mechanic to advance to the next level.
In each level players will be launching their jellies against a sugary structure that protects a number of puddings. Just like in Angry Birds your goal is to destroy the structure and hit the puddings in the process.
As a free physics game that is playable in your browser the production values aren't quite as high as what Angry Birds offers but it does provide solid gameplay and some upbeat music to make it a great (albeit simple) browser game like Angry Birds.

4 - Angry Alien
Another Angry Birds Clone But With Aliens
Choosing to replace Angry Birds with Aliens is Angry Aliens a game that doesn't shy away from its inspiration.
While the game is definitely very Angry Bird clone-esque the range of different aliens that you'll fire at structures keeps things interesting and will test your physics brain.
While some of the early levels won't challenge any Angry Birds play Angry Alien is another free option that quickly ramps up the difficultly level and isn't afraid to through difficult challenges at the player. Recommended for only Angry Bird veterans the game has nearly two dozen brain teasing levels that will appeal to any Angry Birds addict.

5 - Crush The Castle
The Original Angry Birds Physics Game
Before Angry Birds there was Crush The Castle, a game that was released at the start of 2009 (Angry Birds was released in December). Unlike Angry Birds though Crush The Castle does not cater to a casual audience with a brutal difficultly level that puts impossible odds against the player often requiring perfect precision on numerous shots in order to be successful in a level.
This difficultly stems from part level design and part game mechanics with players having to use an old fashioned trebuchet for their attacks which can take quite some time to get used to. While levels add to the difficultly by using plenty of solid reinforced walls to block your projectiles.
These projectiles come in 8 different forms which provide enough strategy as you make your way through the good number of levels available. With over 2.5million plays on Armor Games alone Crush The Castle is a hit that any fan of Angry Birds should be checking out.

6 - Worms (Series)
A Long Time Popular Physics Game
Worms is a turn-based PC game that uses similar physics to Angry Birds and is a long running franchise. In the series players control a team of worms as they battle against other players or the AI in a variety of destructible landscapes.
Using dozens of different weapons from grenades to the bazooka or the simple poke your objective in every map is to destroy every single worm on the enemy team by causing enough destruction to them or the terrain around them.
Your success in each level requires careful planning and a keen eye for the physics of the game as players will often have to take into account terrain, wind and angles in a single shot. The game is also known for its light hearted humour which makes it enjoyable for a range of ages.
If you're after a multiplayer game like Angry Birds then the games from the Worms series are exactly what you are after. While there are many games in the franchise I recommend new players start with Worms Reloaded or Worms Armageddon (both linked below).

7 - Stupid Zombies
Available For iOS Devices & Android
Stupid Zombies is a popular puzzle and strategy game for your phone, iPod or iPad. The game offers an incredible 720 levels and features an impressive rating of 4.5 on the App Store.
In each level the player is required to kill all the zombies, but your ammo is limited so you will have to use your strategic mind and some trick shots to survive. Stupid Zombies is incredibly addictive but also very challenging and thus any Angry Birds fan will fall in love with this game.
In terms of mobile games like Angry Birds Stupid Zombies is easily my favourite option thanks to the unique setting and insane amount of levels. The way that the game continues to introduce new mechanics through your playthrough also ensures that you stay interested throughout as you constantly have to change the way you approach a particular scenario.

8 - Aiko Island
A Popular Physics Game For iPhone
Aiko Island is one of the many popular physics games available on the iPhone and while the gameplay is quite different from the original Angry Birds it has many of the same physics elements that make it a great option for Angry Bird fans.
The goal of Aiko Island is simple, in each level you have to remove all the evil Red Aiko while not harming the Blue Aiko. This is much easier said than done though as you'll adventure across the island in 125+ levels that can really mess with your head.
By awarding a cookie rating for each level (1-3) and offering a unique scoring system there is also some room for replaying levels as you try to optimise your score and beat your friends.
The best feature of Aiko Island though in my opinion is that players are not required to unlock levels in order, they must only obtain a certain number of cookies. This offers greater freedom in the levels you attempt, which is great for your casual physics gamer who (if you are anything like me) often gets stuck on one level.

9 - Birds 'n' Blocks
Help The Birds In This Physics Puzzle Game
The gameplay of Birds 'n' Blocks is not that similar to Angry Birds but if you enjoy the puzzle and physics aspects of Angry Birds you will still enjoy what this mobile game is offering with a unique mixture of game mechanics.
In Birds 'n' Blocks players have to remove all the blocks in each level (except for the safe black blocks) while not letting the birds touch the ground. With birds often positioned on top of blocks at the start of each level this can be very difficult as you roll them, carefully lower them and even bounce them off objects to stay safe.
The game features over 80 levels and is extremely addictive and challenging, you'll have plenty of "ah ha!" moments as a puzzle can easily keep you clueless for weeks before you figure out the solution.
If you are a fan of puzzle games and are looking to add another iPhone app to your collection this should be near the top of your list with some of the best puzzle teasers around.
