Grime is an interesting title in that you fight people with an arsenal of strange living weapons, empowering them with the lives of your victims. Your weapons grow and mutate as you play through the various levels, developing a character that has a unique list of weapons. Combat is one of the most interesting aspects of the game, creating a deep and detailed combat system that is easy to learn yet extremely hard for you to go and master.

3. Blasphemous

If you love Souls like games, then you should absolutely take a look at Blasphemous. This is a Spanish-made game and is regarded as one of the best games ever made by a Spanish developer. The game is littered with interesting themes, and it has no shortage of challenge. Work back and forth through this confusing and challenging world, serving your penance, and making sure you can overcome the various challenges of this gothic world.

4. Hollow Knight

Widely regarded as one of the best indie games of all-time, Hollow Knight makes our list of games like Salt and Sanctuary because it has a similar combat style. As one of the most beloved indie platformer titles around, Dead Cells is 100% worth your time if you fancy changing things up. Dead Cells is an addictive roguelike title with a great combat system, tremendous progression systems, and no shortage of ways for you to have some fun during each run.
