Red Dead Redemption 2 - Jack Hall Gang Treasure Map

I combine my love for complicated video games with my ability to write how to articles to develop articles for strategy games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has multiple treasures that can be located by following maps with landmark clues. The first treasure that can be found is the Jack Hall Gang treasure. You can do this as soon as you start chapter 2, but will need to locate the first treasure map. Once located, it will leave clues to 2 more treasure maps, which will eventually lead to 2 gold bars. Each bar is worth $500.

Finding The First Treasure

The first thing you will have to do is find the Stranger that has the treasure map. He can be found looking over a canyon north of the railroad between Flatneck station and Rigs station, on the Flatneck Station side of the river. He will show up as a white dot on your map and a question mark as you get closer.

When you find the stranger, he will offer you the treasure map for $10. If you don't want to pay for the map, you can rob him instead. Once you pay or rob him you can access the treasure map in your satchel. The Map does not give you a location name, but instead shows a series of buildings and a hill with two stone pillars. This land formation can be found in Caliban's Seat.

Climb up the hill and find an area where there is a gap. You will have to jump down and across a series of rocks in order to come to an area that has a natural rock shelf. The 2nd map is hidden here, along with a pearl necklace that can be sold at the fence.

The oasis can be found in a body of water called O'Creagh's Run. It is in the Grizzlies East in New Hanover.

You will have to swim to get to the oasis, which will first use your stamina and eventually start to lower your health. This easily can kill you if you attempt to swim a far distance. Instead look for the area that is closest to the oasis.

When you get there, you will climb to a flat area, where there will be a prompt to search. Here you will find the buried treasure.
