The home province of the Argonian (Saxhleel) race is the Black Marsh. Little is known about their history, but they are able to breathe underwater, have reptilian features, and are fiercely loyal to their friends. They are especially good thieves--specializing in Lockpicking.

a Bosmer

The home province of the Bosmer (Wood Elf) race is Valenwood. They rejected formal Aldmeri traditions, and instead chose to live in harmony with nature. They have tan-colored skin, and are able to command animals. They are rumored to have invented the bow, and are amazing archers--specializing in Archery.

a Breton

The home province of the Breton (Manmer) race is High Rock. They are the mixed descendants of both Mer (elvin), and man. They have pale-skin, and light builds, and are a quaint people. They are naturally gifted sorcerers--specializing in Conjuration.

a Dunmer

The home province of the Dunmer (Dark Elf) race is Morrowind. They were originally a race of elves with pale gold skin, but a Daedric princess transformed them into Dunmer, giving them the appearance they have today. They have an Ashy, and dark-blue skin color, and tend to have a grim, reserved, and distrusting attitude, especially toward other races. They are a jack-of-all trades, and are good with melee, arching, and magic--specializing in Destruction.

an Imperial

The home province of the Imperial (Cyrodils) race is Cyrodiil. They have tan colored skin, and are cunning, civilized, and have great respect for the rule of law. They are overwhelmingly lucky--specializing in Restoration.

a Khajiit

The home province of the Khajiit (Desert-Walker) race is Elsweyr. The Khajiit were around long before records of history existed. They have feline features, and tattoos that represent cultural and religious ideals. They can see clearly at night, and are often thieves, assassins, or traveling merchants--specializing in stealth.

I thought the Hist tree thing was interesting too; I learned about it when I was researching for this article. One of us, in this house, usually plays a Nord, and the other a Breton. Though, we pretty much think all the races are interesting and unique in their own way. I somehow always become good friends with the Argonians' in-game though, lol.

I've given this a tick in "Useful", because I've learnt a fair bit about where the different races come from and what their religion is. I'm particularly fascinated by the Hist tree - never knew it was such a major role, guess I need to do my research.

And in the end I became a Nord, so my knowledge isn't too bad. Keep Skyrim Nordic!
