Magic The Gathering: 20 of the Best Creatures for White Lifegain Decks

Lone Missionary

When Lone Missionary enters the battlefield, you gain four life.

This is an excellent value for a mere two mana. You not only gain four life but also get a two power and one toughness creature.

You can abuse this ability with the use of blink effects.

Kor Firewalker

Kor Firewalker is a white creature that costs two white mana.

It has two power and two toughness.

Protection from red.

Whenever a player casts a red spell, you may gain one life.

Kor Firewalker is the bane of red decks as it is hard for them to get rid of. Kor Firewalker's lifegain ability nullifies the direct damage done by your opponent.

Ranger of Eos

Pay one colorless mana, Sacrifice Alseid of Life’s Bounty: Target creature or enchantment you control gains protection from the color of your choice until end of turn.

Alseid of Life's Bounty not only gains you life, but also protects your creatures and enchantments.

Daxos, Blessed by the Sun

Daxos can get big in a hurry and can also generate you a decent amount of life points.

A four power and four toughness creature with flying for a mere three mana is good value. This can help you to quickly win the game.

Vigilance, lifelink

Tap Speaker of the Heavens: Create a four power and four toughness white Angel creature token with flying. Activate this ability only if you have at least seven life more than your starting life total and only any time you could cast a sorcery.

Three abilities for a mere one white mana is a bargain. Not only can Speaker of the Heavens gain you some life quickly, it can produce some four power and four toughness flying angels midgame.

Heliod is a powerhouse and can begin attacking as soon as the fourth turn in a typical lifegain deck. It also grants lifelink to your creatures.

It has three power and two toughness.

Companion — Each permanent card in your starting deck has converted mana cost two or less. (If this card is your chosen companion, you may put it into your hand from outside the game for three colorless mana any time you could cast a sorcery.)

Lifelink

During each of your turns, you may cast one permanent spell with converted mana cost two or less from your graveyard.

Lurrus is very powerful as it not only has lifelink and is decently sized for its cost, it can also resurrect creatures in your graveyard.
