Most of LEGO City Undercover is geared towards LEGO and movie references. This being a Nintendo-exclusive game, though, there's room for some distinctly Mario-esque allusions, one of them being the five Yellow Question Blocks hidden in LEGO City. They're elusive and tricky little things, and getting all five is no easy feat. This article will explain how to snag all five of them, and why it's worth the bother. (Don't worry, they're not so far off the beaten path that you can't find them while hunting down the hundreds of other collectibles in the game.)
Bluebell National Park
The first Yellow Question Block is in a section of Bluebell National Park that you almost certainly haven't visited unless you really poke around. Behind the Police Station and dominating a big corner of the Park is a hydroelectric dam. If you make your way up the left side of the plant on the ground you can find a teleporter that will zip you up to the top of the dam, where you'll find several barricaded doors. The Question Block is behind one of those doors.
The second Yellow Question Block is hidden on the border of Festival Square and Pagoda. Make your way down to the water's edge between the two districts and walk into Pagoda. If you look to your left you'll find some stairs, not far from a Pig Cannon. The Question Block is down these stairs.
Auburn Bay Bridge
There's not a whole lot to see underneath the Auburn Bay Bridge. Nevertheless, if you drop down from the top of the bridge and check out the supports on the Auburn side you'll find the third Yellow Question Block hidden amid the girders. Be careful swimming down here, if you approach from the shoreline - crossing a reefy barrier is an invitation to get eaten by a shark.
LEGO City Airport
The fourth Yellow Question Block is very easy to miss because the camera won't swing in your favour unless you're extremely lucky or very thorough. Across from the main terminal of LEGO City Airport is a long set of raised highways - raised enough that you can explore their undersides. Near the giant statue of an aviator there are two niches you can check. The Question Block is in the niche closer to the tunnel to Paradise Sands, hidden behind a cement post. You won't see it until you're right on top of it.
The fifth and final Yellow Question Block is on the water's edge of Apollo Island. Almost one full half of the upper section of the island is dominated by an enormous landing strip with several Super Builds. To the side of it is a huge hangar. The Question Block is at the rear of this hangar, overlooking the water.
Regardless of the order you went in, once you have the fifth Yellow Question Block under your belt you'll immediately get a nice surprise: the Super Wrestler collectible. You know you wanted to look like Nacho Libre.
