Depending on your preferred path build, Oathkeeper is like Holy Knight or Dark Knight character class that excels in using shield and spells.

Most skills of this mastery specialized on shield and retaliation. Plus its also capable of summoning companions and dealing large amount of damage.


Note: Recommended Devotions are not in order. Meaning, it is up to you what constellation you should learn first. Just in case you don’t know, devotion points can also be re-assign in order to meet certain requirements.

When it comes to gear components, resistance to different damage types should be the priority for your character to survive on higher difficulty.


1. Flame Auradin (Oathkeeper + Inquisitor)

This is the most effortless play style build. Flame Auradin can quickly clear mobs by running through them using Aura of Censure and Guardian of Empyrion with Celestial Presence.


Attributes

Assign 10 to 20 points on both cunning and spirit for increase in damage, offensive ability, and ability to wear good equipment.

The majority of your attribute points should be put on physique.

Equipment Priorities

To make this build more powerful, wear equipment that has chance to cast fire type spells every time you deal damage.

Equipment that adds extra damage and range to your Aura of Censure is also recommended highly.


How to play?

As I said earlier, this build is effortless to play. You can clean up mobs quickly by just passing through them. Then if you need to deal more damage, use Eye of Reckoning.


2. Basic Sword and Board Warlord (Oathkeeper + Soldier)

A well balanced build. It deals physical type of damage with internal trauma and retaliation.


Attributes

The main attribute here is physique. Putting cunning and spirit should based on equipment requirements that you’ll be wearing.

Shield is the most important iteam on this build. So wear the best one that you can get. The preferred item attributes are increase in physical and internal trauma damage.


How to play?

Righteous Fervor is your basic attack here. Use Judgement whenever it is available to for AOE attack and crowd control.


3. Two-handed Warlord (Oathkeeper + Soldier)

A variant of Warlord that wields two-handed mace weapon.


Attributes

Put majority of your attribute on physique. Get some cunning if you prefer more damage. Little points on spirit is required until you can wear the best amulets and rings.

How to play?

Your main damage dealer here is Eye of Reckoning with the help of Judgement and Guardians of Empyrion.


4. Retaliation Archon (Oathkeeper + Shaman)

Retaliation stats complements really well with Oathkeeper because the mastery has skills that gets additional damage from retaliation.

So retaliation builds that is based on oathkeeper doesn’t need to wait for enemies attack in order to deal damage.


Attributes

You won’t be needing to put points on cunning for this build.

If possible, assign everything on physique. But of course, you need to put some on spirit for wearing high level rings and amulets.

Tank as much enemies as you can while you attack them with your skills.


5. Firestorm Shieldbreaker (Oathkeeper + Demolitionist)

This is a shield build that wields both fire and lightning damage.

How to play?

Basically, you just use Vire’s Might to quickly cover the gap between you and your opponents. Execute judgement, then continuously attack with Eye of Reckoning. Your Guardian will take care of additional damage.


6. Vire’s Might Shieldbreaker (Oathkeeper + Demolitionist)

A Shieldbreaker build that uses two-handed weapon instead of shield. The insane damage of Vire’s Might with Volcanic Stride lets you level up and finish the game quickly.


Attributes

Majority of points in physique, but you should also invest points in both cunning and spirit for better damage.

7. Acid Shield Sentinel (Oathkeeper + Occultist)

An all around build that is capable of range, melee, defense, retaliation, and summoning companions.


Attributes

Same as Sword and Board Warlord. But you can put more on spirit if you prefer better damage.

Perdition set is the most recommended gears since the set’s attributes complements really well for this build.


How to play?

Spam Aegis of Menhir whenever it is available. When the mentioned skill is on cooldown, you have Righteous Fervor as your basic attack. Then let your summoned companions and retaliation takes care of the rest.


8. Acid Shield Dervish (Oathkeeper + Nightblade)

A variant of Acid Shield Sentinel. This build may not have the retaliation effectiveness but it can move faster and maneuver better.


Attributes

Same as Sword and Board Warlord. But you can put more on spirit if you prefer better damage.

How to play?

Hit your enemies with Aegis of Menhir as long as its available. When the mentioned skill is not available due to cooldown, you can quickly go melee with Shadow Strike. When in dangerous situation, use Blade Barrier as your panic button.

Pneumatic Burst plays multiple purpose here. The skill is used for health recovery and movement speed buff.


9. Elemental Templar (Oathkeeper + Arcanist)

This is a two-handed wielder templar that dashes, then spins to deal heavy elemental damage.

The build is energy hungry due to Eye of Reckoning but thanks to Iskandra’s Elemental Exchange, you’ll be relying less to energy potions.

Same as Vire’s Might Shieldbreaker build.

10. Vitality Shield Oppressor (Oathkeeper + Necromancer)

Another variant of sword and board build that deals vitality damage.

Same as Sword and Board Warlord. But you can put more on spirit if you prefer better damage.

Your primary damage dealer here is Bone Harvest. To make it more powerful, attach Rattosh, the Veilwarden’s skill to it. While waiting for Bone Harvest to be available again, you have Righteous Fervor as basic attack. Then Guardian’s of Empyrion will assist you in dealing extra damage.
